    Glad to learn about yet another able contemporary of Shostakovich. "Spasibo" for sharing, Ms. Baeva, and brava for your performance!

      Weinberg is next generation, really. He regarded Shostakovich as his teacher.
      As the West is slowly discovering, he is way more than "able" !

    Amazing! Incredible sound! Bravo, Alena! Such a great piece! It brings out the the different characters of the violin in the best possible ways. Played it in orchestra with Gidon Kremer as soloist. Also exciting to play it in orchestra, all instruments have nice parts to shine. What bow do you use in this video? :)
