thank you for explaining how to not "catch" the zipper tabs. I've watched many zipper pouch tutorials, have made several pouches but always struggle with this feature....I should have know to leave enough space in seam allowance to not "catch" the tabs...it's a great hint and I thank you for that
Thank you so much for the tip! 😊 I need to do this to my fabric scissors, they're really hard to open and close because the screw is super tight but I'm afraid to loosen it up with a screwdriver just in case it gets permanently loose 😂
Fun cute and quick - just my style ❤️ LOVE my Kai pinking shears!!! I have Wiss, Gingher and Fiskars - none of them can hold a candle to Kai. Definitely worth giving them a try.
Hi Julia! Sweetest little pouches! Your embellishments are darling. I too have those pinking shears. I sprayed them with a silicone spray that worked very nicely.
I've used those very same pinking shears for years and no issues. I love them !!! You may need to readjust the screw that holds them together. You may also have a pair with a flaw but I would try getting them adjusted first. I am lucky to have hubby to do that stuff for me. Hubby just said, sounds like the screw is to tight. My big pair of Fiskars sheers does the same and hubby has to loosen the screw on them at times as I use them a lot. I hope this helps.
You and I must have been separated at birth. lol Your designs have all been in my head, I just needed the visual. Your channel is my fav. Thanks for putting your stuff out there.
What a good idea to ”glue” the two layers of fabric together with heat n bond! And such an easy but yet cute pouch! Thanks for sharing Julia!
I always enjoy your projects, Julia! Thank you, and have a happy week! 😊
Happy week to you too Cat!
I did a French seam on the bottom! Fun and easy project- as usual! Thanks for posting your videos. I look forward to them!
Great idea! I forget about french seams:)
SO adorable!

So glad I could help. It's really a easy zipper application if you leave enough for the seam. Thanks for watching! Julia
Thank you Julia lovely pouches! Kai pinking shears are very good.
I am definitely looking into the Kai pinking shears. Many have suggested them. Thanks so much for your comment. Julia

Thank you so much!
Love this project, thank you! Well done.😊
Thank you! 😊
Hi Julia Try a drop of oil on the screw that holds the scissors together. That may relieve the tightness.
I need to do this. My scissors work a little hard also.

Hi, Thanks for the tip - I will give that a try!
Julia, I have both Ginghers and Havel, and they are so hard to use so they don't get used!
