After a fun filled and busy day in my sewing room, I get to sit with my hand sewing and watch you. You are my fun treat. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead! Thank you for sharing this video!
That is one thing I would really like to try- hand sewing!! Sounds like u had a super fun day! 🥰 glad my videos make u smile! Hope u have a great week too!
Lol, at least you gave yourself a week I’m literally searching for good tutorials so I can make them tonight to wear tomorrow to work. lol. I like your fabric also
Wow, you did an amazing job!! Can't wait to make an attempt at making one this weekend. I'm determined to make a couple of Fall season ones. I hope I can do as well as you did. 🤞🙏
I want to make Star Wars scrub tops but all the premade ones are ugly or they dont have the fit i want. This is a great tutorial and i love that its simple i dont have to buy anything new to try and make myself some scrubs!
My mom works for a company that sends her out to elderly people's homes to assist them with everyday things (I'm trying to avoid saying the company name lol) and she has to wear scrubs. Sometimes scrub tops can get a bit pricey so i told myself i said "self, learn how to make your mom scrub tops so she doesnt have to pay a buttload" and i came across this tutorial and everything you're saying makes perfect sense to my brain! I'm not very familiar with using sewing machines, the only knowledge i have when it comes to sewing is mending clothes and sewing buttons on lol but i really think i can do this and your tutorial is going to be a BIG help to my new endeavor 😊 thank you for putting this on here! 😊🩷🤘🏻
AWESOME!! She will love them so much- especially since you made them- it’s so nice to be able to pick fun patterns too that u can’t get in stores! HAPPY SEWING- I’m so glad my tutorial helped!
This may sound simple, but for someone who does not sew, how would you add a the bungee loop or sturdy fabric rectangle to the shoulder of a scrub top to clip an ID badge onto on an a scrub to you already have. Maybe in a way that doesnt pull your scrub top down and your ID stays out of the way when you bend over. I have not come across a video that explains this. Maybe because its that simple but again, I don;t sew. But I can not stand my top pulling down. Thank you.
That’s a good question- adding in the loop would be easy- u just would sew it into the shoulder seam when ur assembling the top but as for making sure it doesn’t pull the top down THAT I can’t guarantee because of the weight of the ID badge and clip- I have some scrub tops w that little loop so I know exactly what ur talking about- sorry I can’t be more helpful! 💗
@romochick72 I guess that depends on what’s comfortable for you- the scrubs I bought and used for the pattern are cotton- but I also wear ones made from blended fabric- cotton is used for a lot of clothing!
Oh bummer!!! It does take up a LOT of room that’s for sure! I have all mine in bins stashed under my table and on a shelf. 🤣 I hope you get to sew some one day! 💗
I make my own kimono sleeve scrubs.Turn a well fitting top inside out, trace front and back then sew together. Easy peasy.
YES!!! Amazing!!! 🥰 HAPPY SEWING! It’s easier than ppl realize to do things like that!

May I ask around how meters of cloth it requires you to sew a scrub top? And maybe a pair of scrub pants?
Are the sleeves stitched on a sewing machine or serged? Thank you Blessings Sister Trish
Thank you for sharing ❤ it
Thanks so much for watching! It was a fun project! 🥰
Love this video. Can you tell me what fabric you used?

What kind of fabric do you use?
Quilting cotton for this one
Is that good for like sweating at work and stuff? Not too hot?

I have a machine and want to make scrubs. I just don't have the space to store fabric or equipment. 😔
