***** I'm far from studio recording but as far as I know the technologies have not changed dramatically. The professional players mostly still use analog instruments. Just listen to some old-school players to compare their old albums and the new ones: you won't find a big difference. BTW Megadeth spend the money for the recording of the album on drugs and that's why so far so good sounds like shit XD Anyway, it's a great album
