I wish I lived close so I could learn from u but even if I did am handicapped am still trying to make work around your videos lift my spirits ty so much
Hey Duffy, great job on narrowing that tailgate. Tailgates in Wisconsin don't last real long. Rust out in the bottom and at the weld joint just above the logo. A new gate fory 64 was about $1000. No way!:( I've had bad experiences with replacement used gates ( $600 ) that turned out just as bad. About 30 hrs of drilling out spot welds and fabricating all the bad metal and then welding it all back together. (You can ignore the following.) I used a light coat of Bondo to to finish it off. At least I wasn't bugging my wife!:) Thanks again!
Another cheap fabricator here, I also use the grinder before the flapper. Great instructive content man! Wish I could weld as good as you, but since I can grind as good as you I'm off to a decent start.😅
Cool...now what is going into that hole? Raquel Welch reclining.....eish showing my age (lol) Also see the mudguards are not there, you take them off to rethink?
Raquel can work! Have you got one for me? He,he... The mudguards are there, but you are a step ahead of everyone else, having been here in the flesh! Still have to post the video on the fenders - this weekend!
😂 Not a bad idea! But then the T would need to be embossed so it looks like the other letters. Then you will only notice it if you look sharp! Feasible to do the embossing, but a shitload of work...
Hey duff that turned out absolutely awesome. Fab on. Weld On. Keep making. God bless.
Tail gate turned out excellently

A grinder makes you the welder you aint
One thing I use for wider gaps is a wire coat hangers. I use them as fillers.
Ja, that's a cool trick. I've started doing that too! 😆
Something different but it's looking great ☺️.

Thanks man! Jip, very real, no fake and flash😅
To fill gaps do you use metal clothes hangers?
I've tried it, but if the wire is galvanized, its messy!
Hey Diff how much does a box of disc’s cost you in South Africa, I’m in Australia and they cost about $4 each here
I buy them in bulk for about ZAR 9.00. Thats 0.77 Aus $ at todays exchange rate. Normal retail price can be around ZAR 15.00.
Should have changed it to FROT ,😁
