Thanks to Riley for the review! Riley has pointed out one thing we forgot to mention in our own install video & that is that the alcohol prep pad should not be used in direct sunlight or it will indeed flash. Its best to use these prep pads in a garage or in the shade after using a good cleaner to remove dirt, etc. The main purpose of the alcohol prep pad is to remove any oils, for example from fingers, & also wax contaminants. Also, Rapid Tac is a good product however it's primarily designed for different types of material than our vinyl. It's good to note that it is NOT going to negatively affect the install. Our vinyl does not require it & we never use it for professional installs here at the Luxe shop so if you don't have any you need not worry. Riley's car looks great & again, special thanks to you for doing the review! The Charger community has been our strongest supporter & we appreciate all the support from you guys! just finished this about an hour ago. Had a little problem with the right light for whatever reason. fixed it with a blow dryer but I used your video as a guide instead of luxeautoconcept. Thanks it looks great!

I want a scat pack so bad, but I came to terms with saving up for the 2 door charger when ever it comes out cuz we all know it is coming back it's just a matter of time and patience, im thinking 1 or 2 more generations, the wait is killing me tho!

Mine come in Friday. I'm also going the debadge DODGE off of the trunk and replace all of the factory badges with blacked out badges including a blacked out retro style Charger badge on the trunk.

Very well done video. The look is great. The only problem is it reduces the brightness of the brake and back-up lighting. I noticed that you pressed it down around the edge. When it starts peeling off, trim it short of the edge.

'16 Charger SRT. All my law enforcement buddies tell me that apart from risking a fix-it-ticket, that if I am ever rear-ended in an accident, I will be at fault for darkening my brake lights. Just an FYI.
I'm not sure if it's just me or the right side brake light that you tinted looks darker than the left side, I could be crazy but at first it looked darker than the left side in daytime but then the night review gave the same look, otherwise great taste and great video!

Hey, obviously not hating or nothing, but it's not good to slam the trunk like that. I'm not sure on the 16+ years, but on the 11-14 models if you slam the trunk too much, the led's in the tail light will start going out.
do led reverse lights still look nice and bright through the black vinyl?
I think they look great. I checked with my auto inspector and he says here in Texas we are not allowed to have any tint on rear tail lights as well as headlights

looks good i did mine too but also did the front...are u planning on tinting the headlights ? ur car is coming along pretty Hot !!
My headlight are already not that bright and it would dim the color changing halos. So I don't plan on touching the headlights anymore unless I do an HID swap.
if u go with HID and u tint the head lights the paper will burn...so be careful, im thinking putting LED instead of HID ....for head light projector, do you know any set up that would do the job with LED ?? im not very good at things like that...

SRT only just in case you guys were wondering this does not work for r/t you have to buy different tint or r/t, sxt, etc.
Uhhh they're the same taillights on all 2015+ chargers. His original install video for his company was done on an R/T.
+RP Productions oh it's cause my brother had an r/t and the tints didn't fit right and we went back online and saw that we bought SRT tints so he bought some that said r/t and try fit perfectly
What exhaust do you have? a lot of people commented on it but you never responded to anyone. I like the tint, wondering how much police might bug on it, since they also drive these around they would probably notice the difference.
It's the mid-muffler delete! And I doubt it will be noticeable to a normal person. You'd have to really know your chargers to tell the difference!
Are you going to black out your other emblems in the back?

Is Austin ok with Taillight tint? on the other side a Texas It's 50/50 where some cops are just jerks about it and state if you modify the original taillight then you are in violation.
Just depends on the cop I suppose but a lot will just assume the car came like this.

I read somewhere that these vinyl tints only last 5-6 years? Does anybody know if this is true? and also at the end of its life cycle, are they crusted on the tail lights essentially ruining the plastic or will they be easy to peel off? How do they handle going through the car wash? I need info before i make the purchase.

How well do the vinyls hold up with car washes? Should I worry about them coming off if I go thru a car wash instead of washing it by hand?
It shouldn't. I will say we also do high-end detailing locally & I would never recommend any car go through a tunnel wash. It's not good for vinyl or paint

Factory exhaust with the mid mufflers deleted and replaced with straight pipe. The resonators are still in place.

The flashlight vs sunlight alters your perception of the color.
I’m sure he was using an LED flashlight which would also alter he color...
