MCN, Never let Neevesy go! I'm pretty sure he's the best motorcycle journalist out there.
That audible traction control gave me goosebumps. Music!
Sounds like a Predator watching his prey...
For almost 3yrs to the day, I've returned to this vid every 6-8 weeks just to hear that audible tc.. Sheer brilliance
Listening to the traction control is simply amazing. MUCH BETTER VIDEOS!!
is that why it sounds like it's miss-firing? I was going to ask lol...
I bet the media riders weren't allowed to change this. It was probably on the highest setting as it seemed to be very intrusive even on moderate corners.
Wow, MCN! I am really enjoying the "story telling" way you are presenting some of these videos, great job!!!!
Oh, and the bike looks absolutely amazing too. LOL
4 way shootout between this, 1299 superleggera, RC213V-S and the RSV4 FW-GP, please!
I'd pay to watch.
Ayush Sharma I'm guessing that rc213 is going to get embarrassed in that company!
That would so porn test, just porn..
You clearly overestimate horsepower. The RC213 is 188kg fully fueled (and that's with headlights and other road-legal things) and makes the same power (215hp) as the HP4 Race. The chassis and handling of the RC213 will more than make up for the ~17kg weight deficit. But then again, it's also a lot more expensive.
Please stop, I can only get so erect.
oh yeah! throw in some KY jelly and you'd have a party right there!
MCN, with this review format, you have struck gold. The editing, the camera work, the manner and style of your very likeable presenter. Please continue in this vein, it's wonderful. Sincerely, thank you.
BMW can mass produce these frames! this is amazing news for us normal people - it means that in the not too distant future carbon fibre frames won't just be confined to exotic, limited run bikes. We might one day see these on our run of the mill street bikes. damn I love technology.
Carbon fiber will still be expensive as companies know it's much lighter than any other source used. 15yrs ago carbon fiber goods were expensive, today? They're just as expensive
Yes, carbon fiber frames for electric bikes in the future
future me, they are available but at £40k they are not giving them away on the M1000RRs
The quality of MCN videos is so awesome today. I've been around long enough to remember the 'good(bad)' old days. Cheers to your crew: editors, producers, sound engineering and all involved. Excellent video and even as a non BMW fan, this was a great piece of video mastery.
Groagun True ✌
Agreed! I remember the early 2005/6 videos with poor visuals and sound...The videos are now stunning professional quality and Micheal Neeves is great presenter. Well done MCN.

LULZ, that comment made my day!
Definitely arousing..
Same
WHAT A BIKE, I love when companies push the limits like Kawasaki with the h2r, Ducati with the Superleggera, and this BMW
Beema you mean
So how many years will it take to depreciate to 20k so I can buy one?
Don't panic Steve Harvey's secret biker lovechild 650ib will be selling one
on in a few years .Wonder what "bolt" ons he will add to it now all the good
stuff comes on it ? Sure be low miles as spends longer in the trailer than
street "racing" smack downs and comedy track days ,He is getting better
at it a few times takes the same line for a few laps, even stops the 7 year
old in a sweet shop (candy store) squawking
shots fired
"Steve Harvey's secret biker lovechild 650ib" LOL
Actually, as a limited edition, just 750 will be manufactured, I think price will go up.
The Muscle Biker Lou
Audible traction control is amazing to hear! Beautiful machine!
Only $12k for the forks alone.
rustler08 😵
yup the bike is like $70k :(
The audible traction control sounds like something from star wars, so Good!
Neevesy, absolutely awesome. The technology walkthroughs were very informative, and on board footage, honestly sensational. A bike that none of us will likely ride or own, but you did a sterling job transmitting the dream bike sensation back to us.
wow you can really hear the traction control going through that sweeper!
Awesome, awesome video guys. Just amazing how much the quality is higher now.
Quality bike and quality work MCN. The new data overlays are spot on. All extremely well put together.
Neevesy is nothing short of a legend. Great vid!
That traction control winding on through the long sweeping parabolica turn 13 is just amazing! :) What a motorbike! Great review MCN!
Loving letting us just hear it without interruption. MCN is finally picking up their quality, great vid.
14:29 "I want it so bad it hurts". I feel similar pangs of desire myself. Just an amazing piece of mechanical poetry.
Congrats guys! You've come a very long way in terms of production quality. No issues with sound or video. It's professional. Kudos.
THIS is IT!!! BMW stepped up the game once more! Props to them!
That sound... MCN videos have come on so much. Amazing job everyone.
That was a fantastic presentation Mr. Neeves, that bike looks and sounds amazing

Oooohhhh weeeeee! Been waiting for this review. What a bike!!! Sounds super dope.....The future of motorcycles has arrived.
Fantastic work mcn, great vid and what a bike !
Gorgeous bike and, as always, amazing video !
Far Canal. That is something else. The audible traction and anti wheely is amazing. Fantastic video, fantastic riding. What an amazing peice of kit for 750 lucky people to own.
You can hear the cornering traction control kicking in at 0:16, 3:40 and 10:15
MCN,, what a great review! Just 'techi right' with numbers and comparisons.. and what a ride, nice camera shots.. so good to see in safety on track and my heart beats a wee bit less than the bonkers at Isle of Man TT trackn.. thanks
What a great bike ... we already loved the S1000RR and make lots of parts for it ... but this HP4 Race is just amazing!
thanks for sharing all this information. thanks again mr.neeves
You guys are the best at what you do😍
146kg dry is equal to my misses wet. The brembos cost more than her birthdy cake.
Lmao :))
Best review I have ever seen Thanks
Superb review Michael, 100%
What more can this man say this thing is basically a piece of ARTWORK!!! Closest thing to a full-blown MotoGP bike money can buy.
That was a very good video! Loved the on-board footage and the articulate explanation of the trick carbon fiber components, along with the brakes & suspension. The bike is good looking - loved the blued titanium exhaust in the wrap-up. That pipe sounds almost as good as the Akrapovic on my ZX-6R -- ha!!
Great review mate !
Estoril Race Circuit its EPIC!
Could listen to this bike all day.
Quality review ! Bravo
I really like the how it sounds with traction control. Makes it really unique.
So what will hold blinkers n headlights better ... super glue or duct tape
me2ontube Not road legal
not hard to change that ive met acouple people with h2rs that ride them on the street so add everything needed to make it legal and itll work
Stephen Cain Dont lie
You never thought about why it's illegal on the road ? You just add a licence plate holder, headlights, blinkers and bam, it's legal. That was hard, right ?
exactly not that hard if i somehow i could ever afford one id just take s1000rr fairing and headlights blinkers and licence plate holder and convert it
Nice vid thanks guys. Great bike too.
Super thorough, interesting, and exciting review.
Wickedly awesome bike.
I fell out of my chair when you picked up the rim and waved it around like it weighed nothing
Great review! Third time watching
Awesome sound, anyone else think an A10 Tank buster was overhead. :)
Great video MCN team, think you got everything right on this one, video sound. top job. pleasure to watch.
That's where I've heard that sound before! The Warthog's farty buzz of freedom!
Great presentation of the bike's features and riding experience. It's gorgeous, a work of engineering, design and technology.,
Sounds amazing! That popping sound when you accelerate then high pitch tune when your close to changing gear. Its sounds like your on a GP Bike. Good review!!!
Excellent idea to present the components while riding overall a fantastic video & bike, well done BMW. Just wish I could ride half as well.
Good job, awesome bike. Love these films that let you have a real idea about these bikes, that sadly most of us will never own.
Beautiful bike
What a gorgeous bike.
Incredible machine!
crazy bike, love it.
The production quality of this video is fucking amazing.
Ermagawd. That sound from the 1st clip... drool!!
Very good presentation.
Just outstanding
This must be absolute maniac race bike I guess, when Mr Neevesy himself confirms about his skill level and this bike inspite of him being so experienced, says how awesome this thing is, Bravo BMW!!..
Audible TC is ohh so sweet 😘. Love it!
BEAST MODE......WOW
my God...what a bike man!!!
Just WOW!!! just, look at the way you grab those wheel(carbon fibre wheel obviously) sir. Its a work of art. Really...
Imagine if that bike comes with carbon fibre swingarm. Its just awesome!
Anyway, good videos as always👌👍
Epitome of beauty.
An amazing bike, how they can mass produce that frame I do not know. It's kind of like a Britten V1000 but nearly 30 years later. The Britten was 138 kg wet and 166 Hp. The BMW is 33 kg heavier but has 49 Hp more. Amazing what was achieved in a shed in NZ so long ago. I guess the extra weight of the BMW would easily account for all the electronics it carries nowadays.
Mother of God.. That sound!
"Zee" Germans did a pretty good job with this one.
Michael Neeves kicks ass. favorite moto journalist aside from the lads at motor cyclist🏍🏍🏍
I NEED THIS
sounds so nice...🤙
The noise from that traction control was intense.
music to my ears
incredible
my god.... that thing sounds so good! You can literally hear the electronics interfering making a stutter popping sounds out of every single corner! Sounds like a hybrid s1000rr transformer or something.
amazing
The USD front forks actually looks like a great trophy. A real piece of art.
how do you get biikes sound so clear & clarity ?? any tips
Awsome camera angle under the back fender , you could see your feet working the bike !
that engine sounds amazing
Nice video 👍
that exhaust is orgasmic
perfect machine
10.20 was epic!
Nice, very nice indeed.
@Neeves, do you ever use the bike rear brake on a track or road?
So I see people talkin about the audible traction control is that the knocking nose I heard as he went around corners?
What a machine thst is man
What a good lookin' machine
i have no words for this....
