I remember when Vicious Cycle and Lttle Orbit downsized and closed down, was in the first wave of layoffs. Pity though, was a great team to work with with a lot of potential but management left a lot to be desired and I squarely place the blame for the lack of digital store availability and crashing issues on them.
I won this game at a Cartoon Network event for the Xbox One. I enjoyed it and beat it, but I wouldn’t spend more than $20 at all. I beat it quickly, and the themed ending I had to look up online to get the “good” ending
I think your point about the game being mainly for die hard fans is perfect. As I die hard fan myself, just being able to explore the land of ooo in 3D was enough for me and I fell in love with exploring the world and talking to characters from the show. Personally, I like it more than Pirates of the Enchiridion since I’m not super into RPGs and the world of that game was empty and dull as dishwater, along with being glitchy as hell. Thanks for this great video!
I like this game because I love the graphic style, I don’t know why I just like it and I love the huge sense of accomplishment I get when I complete a puzzle
I remember enjoying the game on the Xbox 360. I didn’t really care for the investigations, I just enjoyed playing as Finn and Jake. It’s a shame that they can’t sell the game digitally anymore - might have to pick up a physical copy off eBay sometime
I'm certainly considering it! Not sure when I would do it though. My main concern is that the video would become quickly outdated, especially if I make it before the new Samurai Jack game comes out. It's definitely something I'm thinking about though.
I'll potentially be reviewing Mandark's Lab, but that's about it. The other games that I've "missed" are handheld versions of games I've reviewed, which I might visit in a separate "Lost Levels" themed series one day.
@@CartoonReview tbh never played any of them. This one always looked interesting and the demo i downloaded a long time ago seemed fun. Then again I've never been the biggest AT fan xD
Btw, you forgot 3 Teen Titans games: Teen Titans (GBA), Teen Titans (Console), and Teen Titans 2; unless you don't consider Teen Titans as a Cartoon Network property
What about Dexter's Lab: Mandark's Lab for PS1. You still didn't cover that game, You said you will come back to it sooner or later but it isn't a complete CN Video Game History if you leave that one out.
I've mentioned this previously, but I'm saving Teen Titans for a DC Comics Video Game History. I'm trying to keep this series to shows that were produced or made by Cartoon Network as much as possible, rather than doing every game based on shows that have ever aired on Cartoon Network.
I'm not a fan how you went on about how "point and click stlyes games are outdated" tangent That's fair form the case, if The Walking Dead games are form any indication
I think you kinda missed my point. The classic point and click style is definitely outdated, but as I said in the video, games like Telltale's The Walking Dead, Until Dawn, and Quantic Dream's games have completely revamped the genre. The Walking Dead, Until Dawn, Heavy Rain, and Detroit: Become Human are some of my favourite games of all time, so I definitely don't have a problem with modern takes on the adventure game genre.
@@CartoonReview I never have liked some of the modern "takes" and examples you used, especially Detroit: Become Human, ugh Call me a boomer, but classics like Sam and Max and Monkey Island are still fun to me to this day

Not gonna lie, characters like Ice King look very creepy in this style. Is that just me or does anybody else feel this way?
His beard has WAY too much shading. While lemongrab looks like he belongs in another game entirely.
i mean his mouth is huge compared to his face if you look closely

I'd say if you want some good licensed point and click adventure games, get the Sam & max telltale games
Imagine an Adventure Time game that's literally a Text Adventure? I've started playing Text Adventures on the ZX Spectrum. Cryptic to say the least.
I like this game because I love the graphic style, I don’t know why I just like it and I love the huge sense of accomplishment I get when I complete a puzzle
Novan YES
I like this game to voices are from the graphics perfect checking puzzles combats are too animation is okay but after awhile it's freaking BORING!
I played it years ago and thought it was fine.

I actually love this game it’s my first PS4 game I ever got
Lmao Abracadaniel has me dying.
I get excited for adventure games still. Maybe I am archaic now.
Awesome video!
I only have one Cartoon Network game and it's Generator Rex Agent of Providence on PS3.
You didn't review Dexter's Laboratory: Mandark's lab because emulation was difficult and you didn't have the right capture equipment
i would love to know where this game takes place in the adventure time timeline like i know that it takes place in season 6 but when exactly?
I’m lucky I got a physical copy back in early 2016
same
I never played it before and i really want to just dont know how to get it
Get it on disc
I think the last Adventure time game was pirates of the enchiridion
Would you be doing a ranking video of the overall cartoon network series games?
I'm certainly considering it! Not sure when I would do it though. My main concern is that the video would become quickly outdated, especially if I make it before the new Samurai Jack game comes out. It's definitely something I'm thinking about though.
Will you go back after this and review all the cn games you missed as a buffer between cn games and nickelodeon games?
I'll potentially be reviewing Mandark's Lab, but that's about it. The other games that I've "missed" are handheld versions of games I've reviewed, which I might visit in a separate "Lost Levels" themed series one day.
@@CartoonReview that lost levels thing sounds pretty cool
I do have the xbox one version of this game!
Not every word needs to be capitalized.
KeybladeBrett Fixed.
I’m watching through your videos again and it occurred to me. Why couldn’t you just buy a physical copy of this game? It’s dirt cheap used at GameStop
thanks for the video
I have this game on Wii U and haven't played it yet. Should I torture myself? Lmao
Depends how much you hate the adventure game genre lmao. If you enjoy those kinds of games you might find *some* enjoyment here
@@CartoonReview tbh never played any of them. This one always looked interesting and the demo i downloaded a long time ago seemed fun. Then again I've never been the biggest AT fan xD
wait you never reviewd dexter's laboratory mandark's lab?
Yep! I had issues with getting it to run properly so I skipped it for the time being, with plans to come back to it one day.
what about educational games
This review was so hilarious I almost had an asthma attack 🤣
You still remember Mandark's Lab exists, right? Or you couldn't find a copy yet?
Btw, you forgot 3 Teen Titans games: Teen Titans (GBA), Teen Titans (Console), and Teen Titans 2; unless you don't consider Teen Titans as a Cartoon Network property
I had the xbox 360 version as a physical copy and I lost it so I got the 3ds version I found the xbox copy though I might replay it
I am surprised that juniper lee has no game
nazish arshad it wasn’t as successful as the other shows but it was prominent enough to appear in promo’s I wish it did have a game

Thanks for the reminder! Might have a tinker with Mandark's Lab and see if I can get it running okay.
When you review Nicktoons Unite games , will you have Rugrats1991
I'll be reviewing every Nickelodeon game.
@@CartoonReview No he’s a youtuber who did SoundTrack videos with games
This game ran like shit on my PC
Hey um heads up but i think you forgot the teen titans video game on ps2 and also the version on gba
And the sequel on gba only
