Andrew, where have you been hiding your amazing wife? She is such a breath of fresh air with a different point of view and a way of looking at the small details that many of us miss. Brilliant. Can we have more trips with her please?
She is lucky that Andrew figured out how to free up enough vehicle weight for her and the espresso machine, or he might have had to enjoy morning cappuccino solo. =P
Oh my gosh. After several years, this video makes me so satisfying. Not about the content. But, in the end of video, I found 2 beautiful souls together. I am so excited for next videos. Take care.
Andrew, while I enjoy all your work, this last little series has touched me deeply. The way you portrait your life with Gwynn, with nature and with the creation of art is simply beautiful! The admiration and love between you and your wife are very moving and makes me smile with all my heart. All the best to both of you. I wish you many safe journeys to come! ❤️
I’ve been watching overlanding/camping channels on UTube for years and this the the 1st time I ever heard the truth. Camping is work! For some reason all the other content creators fail to mention that part like it’s a dirty little secret. The wife is ABSOLUTELY correct. It’s work but we do because we love to out there in nature so it worth it. That’s exactly why so much time and money is spent to get set up an organized. Funny thing is... it’s never perfect and are constantly tweaking out set up. Thank u for keeping real. LOVE U BOTH SO MUCH!!! Be safe 😘✌️👍
Greetings from South Africa, mate. I've just returned from a post-Covid trip to the Richtersveld and when there, remembered your sojourn way, way back before RUclips was even a thing. When you pioneered the jerry can spout-thingy. Andrew, your filming has become OUTSTANDING. You really have become a master of your art!
This is one of the best vids I've ever seen. Really really liked it. From listening to the wind in trees, fire, floods to laughs with the wife. So good.
I know this is what you do and your a professional at it, but I’m still amazed how great they are for a you tube channel. It’s better than anything you would get on TV and I watch them over many times. Love how well you guys have so much fun together and you both keep it so real. Fantastic work, thank you so much for all your videos and a great channel 👍👍👍👍
Although my wife loves overlanding as much as I do, she doesn't particularly care for most of your videos. These with your wife are an exception, she loves them! Thank you Gwynn.
The best so far because Gwynn is with you. By the way when we go bush we don’t do it for cooking..... Just because we need to eat. With you on this Gwynn.... Could be sandwich as far as we know. All depend on what you put in it.... Please more of the two of you, such a pleasure, Gwynn is a trésor. Cheers
You've been blessed to have such a partner that enjoys setting out into the wild on your trips. Your videos bring the burning desire to load up the truck and get out of dodge. Fantastic colors, and textures you've captured where many would consider it a lifeless part of the world. Thanks for sharing your journey with us. As always I look forward to the next part of your trip.
As always - beautiful photography and videos, but the best - and what makes you a stand out - your ability to tell a real story - and what story you choose to tell shows us all just how much you love your wife. Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. A wonderful woman makes even a great man better, and when she is part of your story (even if it is just a touching satellite phone call from the bush) your videos prove that she makes your stories better as well.
Thank you Andrew (great name) for the wonderful and amazing visual feast. Thank you for showing me the Australia I knew existed but never took the chance to see that way. Thank you and I hate you in the best possible way for making me miss my home. Keep doing what you do best. Andrew, Toronto, Canada.
You two are perfect for each other, like 2 pea's in a pod! All the best places are randomly found! Thank You for allowing us access to seeing your place of being! 🙂
Gwynn is the best addition to Andrew's videos. If you haven't, you need to read "Torn Trousers", by both Andrew and Gwynn. It's a biography of their time running Tau Camp; an upscale tourist camp on an island in the Okavango Delta.
Have been watching you since DSTV days. Your wife is a great companion and fantastic addition to your videos. Great content and editing. Brought back great memories of 25 years ago in the NWC.
Life is memorable when the unexpected happens. The trip you are on is fantastic. It's great to see the two of you together on your own. I can tell ,,,,, I think I can tell that you both like the challenge that nature puts forward during a well planned trip. Your touring setup looks to be one of the best. All the best to you both. I still like to watch the old 70's Range Rover videos from way back. Its great to see you are both excited about your new home . Studio, chickens and veggie garden.
I love your trips, and work generally! It’s a joy to watch and it’s especially good when you two are together as it is clear you have an amazing relationship. Kudos 👍
Delighted to see Andrew's better half is finally doing a video! We married couples are a team, as I'm sure you've done plenty of behind the camera work before this, where I finally see you are in front of the camera. Thank you for another interesting video and sharing your perspectives with your loyal viewers!
I once overheard two lions talking. One was telling the other, " I was in the middle of the Okavango, hundreds of miles from anywhere, I found a lovely bush to sleep under but in the middle of the night I was woken by a human peeing all over my tale. Honestly, they get everywhere. You couldn't make this stuff up."
Hi Andrew and Gwynn I followed a similar route to yours a couple of weeks later. Coming out of Denham having been up Cape Peron I took the Butchers track through to Murchison then up to Gascoyne Junction on through the "Wool wagon Pathway" to the Kennedy Ranges. I was amassed at the amount of surface water left by the storm you guys drove through. Equally amassing were the amount of people at the Kennedy Ranges camp site. It was so full people where camped on the road verge heading into it. Not for me I bolted and drove the extra 200 or so Klm's to Barradale. Form here I headed into Coral Bay with the intention of heading up the coastal track to Exmouth in the opposite direction you took. The crowds in CB convinced me to just drop it and go home. High light of the trip was meeting the guy you sold your troupy to at Billabong road house.I hope they find a cure foe this Covid virus soon and all these people can go back to Bali and leave the wild coast I love.in it's usual isolation. Travel safe you two.
G,Day Andrew & Gwynn, please don't change the format, book bloody nothing, nothing being the spot you find with your heart 💖 loving the Yin & Yang with you two together. Campsite site with the hordes misses the mark by a longshot, 32:50 was just majestic, I was lost in that moment thankyou.
I hope Gwen continues to be a part of your on-camera adventures. You two area great couple! Also just watched your old "How to drive a 4x4". What a video. You were tossing out nuggets so quickly at some points that I'm going to have to go back and watch it again because I know I missed stuff. Going to watch the "Recovery" one this weekend. Pure gold. Thank you for making it available! You have a beautiful country. Thanks for letting us tag along! Cheers from Canada.
Excellent, really really do enjoy you two. My wife has started watching with me even! You lucked on to some beautiful spots. We also enjoy traveling without a particular destination. Opens things up for adventure! Keep up the wonderful work and thank you for sharing your times together.
Such warmth to this whole series & that's definitely due to having the lovely Gwyn on board, more like this please!! Really glad you didn't have the 24hr generator chorus that seemingly followed me around every campground up there, even with solar arrays to rival Tesla's finest efforts also connected. That may have turned it into one of your finest rants ever 🤣
Thanks for another great travelogue. The interaction is wonderful and very entertaining. The music thing brought make a memory when we camped at Mungo NP NSW. We had the massive camping area to ourselves when in came another traveller and out came their boom box. The wild camping is understandable and something we enjoy. Safe travels.
I agree with the previous comments. You guys are such fun together. Always loved your channel and now Gwynn brings a new dimension to it. Look fwd to more trips with you both. Cheers.
One of my favourite videos. Brilliant. I enjoyed the decision making with the weather and fires and felt part of it. Gwynn as always is lovely and you both are a wonderful couple. I’m going to support you on Patreon. ❤️ from 🇶🇦
Another great episode Andrew & Gwynne - I can relate to your comment at the end regarding a place to finally settle with chooks and veggie garden. At this time I would have been bicycling across Canada/US but Covid changed that plan and forced me to recently buy a home (in your neighbouring state) which is a good thing after several years of solo bicycle touring.around Australia, NZ and Europe/UK. Ningaloo Reef is going to be a jewel in your crown of future treks. Kind regards and safe travels John in SA
Double thumbs up. I always learn something from your videos, from technical advice to resourcefulness. Even understanding my better half's toilet habits! 😊 You two are amazing. Love your videos.
Another fantastic video, one of the great thing about your video's is the cinematography just breathtaking the composition of the shots etc. Can't wait for the next one. I must admit when traveling I'm of the same ilk re cooking, I have all the kitchen stuff you'll ever need at home when I'm away I just love things like corn beef hash, tinned curries, chilli and pasta anything simple. I even use the 3 in 1 instant coffee's just semi boil a cup and a half of water make the coffee and use the other water to wash the cups up, job done.
Reminds me of trying to find a campsite on NYE in Victoria. Everywhere was full, there was even a DJ set up at one site we went through. In the end we drove deep into the bush and camped by ourselves next to a creek. It was very nice.
My favourite parts of Andrew's videos is his skill with his cameras! The shots of Gwyn smiling as she swam took years from her face, her's is a lovely smile. As others have written, the banter between you both & the affection you have for each other is very hearwarming. As Andrew said, he is a very lucky man. My Bride & I have the same thing between us & it makes our lives very happy & pleasant.
Stunning photography, out standing content and editing. You both are of a similar age to my wife and I, and the bantering is identical! Lol As for the lions in the bush, several years ago my son and I were at a Boy Scout camp in Northern California A mountain lion attacked a horse in the middle of the night 100 feet from where we were sleeping in a tent. I never knew a horse could scream. It was terrifying as we had kids in tents everywhere. The horse survived and was fine after a short while , but holy --!
Thanks for another terrific piece of content! I married in my early 30's... in my 20's was when I was most adventurous - owning an ex-army 2A Landrover and travelling about my country of NZ. Looking bad I have both fond memories but also tinges of sadness I spent it alone or on 4Wd club trips with other guys. In NZ so much access to beaches and riverbeds and forest areas is now restricted of off limits (compared to the 90's anyways) and much of what I got up to simply cannot be done here any more. You reflect on how lucky you are to have a wife who supports your passion and joins you on such trips. That really resonates with me. Looking forward to further content.
Omg, Gwyn, if I had 50 cents for every time you had a wisecrack at Andrew, I would never work a day in my life!!! Honestly you two are gold. My only negative was when Gwyn was talking down her cooking, please don't as this is not cooking adventures, this is 4xoverland, showing us awesome places in our own backyard!
I have loved watching your adventure, it has been great to see you take your wife alone this time. It has been such a great thing to sit back and relax while watching. Love your work
On August 2016 I was travelling to north Morocco with my son in our Isuzu Trooper. When we got to Tangier, it was late enough for us to stop and have some sleep. We found a beautiful spot at the sea front, had some food and just comfortably lied down at the back of the Trooper. Only minutes after, a car parked at a short distance from us, a group of about 6 boys and girls jumped out with cans of beer laughing and shouting like mad. Then, the worst, what I feared most, happened: awful loud music like I never heard in my life. So I lowered the window and started to look at them kindly, hoping they would understand and put the volume down a bit. But instead, one of the lads shouted at me: "Hey, you will not sleep tonight, believe me!". I said hmmm, ok, let's see who's gone leave first... I moved the Trooper facing right towards them, started the 3.1 diesel engine and lit the big roof light bar, the head lights high beam and the fog lights right in their direction. After about 5 minutes or so, they got on their car and drove off... Never saw them again...
You are such a great couple together. And it is so inspiring to see the development and changes in the approach to the lifestyle as time goes by and we gradually are getting older and finding new ways to enjoy life.
One of my favourite parts of WA, you’ve done it a service! Suggestion for the bannister brush: put one next to each front seat, and use it to brush off your feet/boots as you hop back in the truck. I’ve always done it, and you can even put them on a string and carabiner to stop them floating off or falling out the door.
I would like to thank Gwen for allowing Andrew to pursue this type of traveling and sharing part of your life with us.You bring us so much joy and pleasure watching, the two of you together. Thanks for being such an inspiration to a lot of people
Oom en Tannie dankie. Thank you for putting in the effort and hard work to bring us this content. Amazing cinematography and storytelling like always. I hope to see you on Netflix/Amazon soon!!
I've noticed some people feel safer in groups when camping. I like to get out a bit further and feel the adventure. I'm pretty confident at fixing my own 4x4 too - so maybe that's part of it.
Fantastic content Andrew. Thank you very much. Are you still planning a budget build collaboration series with your daughter and her partner? I am super keen to see your expertise on such a topic!
Have so enjoyed these last few less technical videos, wishing you both many more happy trips. Oh, and those unplanned getaways are called “magical mystery tours”, stay safe U2 👍🇿🇦
I have watched your videos for years Andrew, back before RUclips and I must admit that this newest series with your wife have been the best productions yet! Thanks for letting us tag along.
These two are absolutely made for each other. Thank you for the great video, Gwyn and Andrew. Bless you both.
Andrew, where have you been hiding your amazing wife? She is such a breath of fresh air with a different point of view and a way of looking at the small details that many of us miss. Brilliant. Can we have more trips with her please?
She's great
She is lucky that Andrew figured out how to free up enough vehicle weight for her and the espresso machine, or he might have had to enjoy morning cappuccino solo. =P
She cracks me up. Love her personality on here.
💯 I had been thinking the same thing! She ads a great dynamic!
Oh my gosh. After several years, this video makes me so satisfying.

Agreed
This was wonderful Andrew! Would love to see more of Gwenie your wife, she is super entertaining too!
I like your wife I'm glad that you have her on this trip ( she is funny) pictures are Super !!
Couldn't agree more... What a legend 😀
You are right, she is the one who adds the humor needed to balance Andrew's grump...
@@huss1205 hehehe yep couldn't agree more 😂

This is one of the best vids I've ever seen. Really really liked it. From listening to the wind in trees, fire, floods to laughs with the wife. So good.
The overall series of 5 episodes is just marvelous. I enjoyed watching all of them.
A special clap to Gwynn who brough additional insight and joy.
This has literally become my new favourite channel. Its like camping with an awesome Mum and Dad.

Wow, I’ve loved this series so much, and this episode was amazing, thanks Andrew and Gwynn.
Beautifully put together (32.15). Beautiful memories created. Beautiful people. Thank you.
Thank you for the quality videos and including your lovely wife in them. Her experiences and commentary are wonderful value to your audience!
The best so far because Gwynn is with you. By the way when we go bush we don’t do it for cooking.....

Came for the overland camper, stayed for the content. Brilliant series✌🏾
This is by far my favourite video of you two 👍 30's years together and still going strong 🙂
I like how the two of you tell a story about camping, it’s been a great series and it’s so humble and relaxing seeing you both just enjoy being away.
Thank you Andrew (great name) for the wonderful and amazing visual feast. Thank you for showing me the Australia I knew existed but never took the chance to see that way. Thank you and I hate you in the best possible way for making me miss my home. Keep doing what you do best.

Finally, back out camping. This was too long in coming. I really needed this. I didn’t know I am a grey nomad.
Just as applicable to Elephants in Botswana. Except “on my feet”.

Thank you Andrew and Gwynn. My wife doesn't watch 'my shows' but when I played this through the tv, I caught her watching the entire thing. :)
I camped and snorkelled in the National Park some years back. It was amazing.
I’m enjoying the videos from this trip immensely, especially because Gwynn is with you and she always makes the videos that much more fun
I hope Gwen continues to be a part of your on-camera adventures. You two area great couple! Also just watched your old "How to drive a 4x4". What a video. It is nice to see the dynamic between the two of you, the obvious love and mutual respect to each other.
The end where Batman finally thanks Catwoman for supporting him was very touching & sweet...BRAVO-CB3
Beautiful to see friendship and respect. The scenery is complemented by your love for each other.
Thanks for sharing this wonderful story.
This is far better to watch than anything on tv
That fire over the horizon was soo spooky! And you thought all those lights would be overkill. I bet you were glad for them that night!
Such intelligent and wholesome people. Your work is so lovely Andrew. So nice to see Gwen getting involved
Love Gwynn’s insight on staying organized. Rings true
Nice to see you more relaxed, looks like you are having a good time, thanks for the vids really enjoy watching, cheers rick.
"you got to be able to laugh at yourself" soooo true!
ausome coast will get there soon.great to see the both of you enjoying yourself
Great video, love seeing you two together. The dynamic is wonderful. That final scene on the beach was beautiful.
Thanks for another great travelogue. The interaction is wonderful and very entertaining. The music thing brought make a memory when we camped at Mungo NP NSW. This whole video GOALS! Every aspect of it.
I agree with the previous comments. You guys are such fun together. Always loved your channel and now Gwynn brings a new dimension to it. Look fwd to more trips with you both. Cheers.
I couldn't agree more about the brush! The brush is amazing, especially if you're going to be near sand.
One of my favourite videos. Brilliant. I enjoyed the decision making with the weather and fires and felt part of it. Gwynn as always is lovely and you both are a wonderful couple. I’m going to support you on Patreon. ❤️ from 🇶🇦
Thank you Andrew and Gwyn for an absolute beautiful video 👍

Double thumbs up. I always learn something from your videos, from technical advice to resourcefulness. Even understanding my better half's toilet habits! 😊 You two are amazing. Love your videos.
Another fantastic video, one of the great thing about your video's is the cinematography just breathtaking the composition of the shots etc. Can't wait for the next one.
I must admit when traveling I'm of the same ilk re cooking, I have all the kitchen stuff you'll ever need at home when I'm away I just love things like corn beef hash, tinned curries, chilli and pasta anything simple.

So nice and inspirational. Thank you both. The very very best to you.
From Portugal, Lisbon.
Another awesome open and honest episode, love it, thank you
I do the same thing with planning on my videos, I don’t plan at all. It’s so much better that way!
Lovely video, you are both living the dream. Best of British and long may the great videos and trips keep coming.
Thank you guys for another wonderful video. Both of you work so well together, a truly great marriage.
Stunning photography, out standing content and editing. You both are of a similar age to my wife and I, and the bantering is identical! Lol

Stunning life, stunning scenery and a what a fabulous couple you are.

Lovely to see you guys doing this stuff- Thanks for sharing
A legendary video and you as a legendary couple. Thanks! Tim
Thanks for being such an inspiration to a lot of people
Coastal part was bloody great!
another amazing episode, thank you Gwynne and Andrew.
Loved this episode. The music at the beginning and end is so calming!
Beautiful film, beautiful life.
Fantastic content Andrew. Thank you very much. Are you still planning a budget build collaboration series with your daughter and her partner? I am super keen to see your expertise on such a topic!
I could not help but notice the colour of your hair and your nomadic nature :). Maybe we are all gray nomads and adventurers? Cheers, Mike
What a lovely-delightful couple.
Andrew: "...listen to the wind...." Gwynn: electric hoover sound at the background :-))))
Have so enjoyed these last few less technical videos, wishing you both many more happy trips. Oh, and those unplanned getaways are called “magical mystery tours”, stay safe U2 👍🇿🇦
