I can't listen to conventional recordings of a Bach mass. They are vocal works, and I struggle immensely with vocal works. For this reason, these works have been largely unavailable to me. I believe I know every single instrumental work of Bach that has survived to the current day, and I have listened to most of them hundreds of times. I will be listening to this again in future. Already I find it appealing, in time I will come to understand all of the harmony and the voices and enjoy it even more. I am grateful that you seem to share the affinity that I feel for Bach, and for the opportunities that this avails me.

I share the same hesitation you have with choral music, but with organ works, I have become closer with Bach's organ masterpieces only recently, and in great part because I have recreated them with different voices. I am happy that I can make someone else happy, even if it's just by finding a kindred spirit out there.
This is a triumph. You took a very complex composition and shined your own light on it. Everything is there, from linear integrity to balance to imaginative colors. I appreciate your service to the music. This is a satisfying listening experience.

For me it is always a difficult balance to create something that is not merely a copy (for example by recreating "violin", "trumpet" or "flute" sounds) but still sounds good. This was definitely more on the skeuomorphic side of the equation, the trumpets actually sound quite like trumpets etc. In terms of complex composition - holy cow, there is no doubt that the whole Missa is a monster. You listen to it and you like it, but when you start unpacking it you realise the stuff it is made of.

I think Vladimir needs to listen to this Masterpiece by you and Bach to convince himself to stop the war and if he persists, just buy Ukraine instead of spending the money in an endless war. I am sure it will be cheaper for him. Great contribution to the peace by our great OrzoMondo that keeps us delighted with his work !!
