Good video on this product. I recently purchased one of these (One Netbook One Mix 2S Yoga Laptop). I can live with some of the less perfect issues, but as you mentioned, it's kool as hell to to own one of these. Keep up the good work!
Best review for this device so far. I was thinking of getting one because of the compact size and capabilities. The important things to me were GPU, pen, full OS, and decent overall performance. I am hesitant though after seeing the pen performance here. I don't care about the speakers because pretty much 100% of the time I'd rather be using headphones or my own external speaker. I'm glad it has active cooling. I'd be doing some light gaming such as WoW and a few Steam games, Blender modeling/rendering, Photoshop, and was hoping to do digital artwork. I think, for me, if the pen issue was fixed I'd probably get one of these.
There is a very solid and valid reason to have larger side bezels on a laptop, even this small. I tilt the screen by holding it on the sides, which prevents my fingers triggering touchscreen every time! I consider that important.
the concept is already 2.5 years old though. GPD launched this with atom x8750 and 4-8gb ram for 400 bucks, and in 2018 they did something like in this video.
@@DrekiTech The model I see with 8gb ram is like 700-800 dollars incl. shipping and tax, I bought the gpd micropc instead for 337 dollars and celeron n4100 and 8gb ram.
@@shagstars less powerful processor and not touch, but I think better refined overall better value. I would recommend the Pocket 2 instead of the onemix as well.
@@DrekiTech Tue but it is an upgrade from gpd win 1. SSD is upgradable, 8gb ddr4 ram 6 inch display. But the pocket 2 is nice (would recomment the m3 though and not the celeron 3xxxy because its only a little bit better than the n4100 for costing 25% more.
Using Pocket 2 and love it specially the keyboard,to me this just like the Pocket 1 clone with fingerprint Sensor and more powerful.Dont know why they removed the backlit keyboard, that's the only thing i want in Pocket 2.If Pocket 2 + Mix 2s =perfect UMPC...thanks for ur review, keep it up 😉
Hi,so sorry to bother you. My one mix 2 can't turn on. Do you know what might cause the problem? I replaced the battery , still not working. Is the board dead? Thank you so much.
Hi Benjamin, no way to tell immediately without the PC in hand. If you've replaced the battery but the computer is still not launching it could be the board, it could be the power button, it could be the USB-C connector for charging, it could even be the charger that you are using is incompatible with the PC (or broken), I would try another charger first (make sure it matches the volatges on the OEM one as this computer is very picky) and then go from there. How far do you get? Charging light? Fan spin? Maybe the computer turns on but not the display? good luck
1:11 lm not agree. l have the one mix and it sounds good. and the keyboard is perfect l get acostum to that size. if you need some mobility and any place to work this yoga mix one or two is a safe buy
I think it's worth it for the right person, but the target market is so small. At $500, more competitive to GPD, it would certainly be easier to recommend.
I really enjoy watching your videos like this. You can tell you know what you're talking about and you explain things very well. Keep it up!
best reiview on such a niche product
Very cool - I was fascinated with pocket computers myself, before the dawn of the smartphone. Good, comprehensive review, thanks for sharing!
A truly honest review. Thank you for pointing out its flaws.

For you is a valid reason, but not everybody think the same
That's a good suggestion on the padded bumpers to help with the screen. This is a pretty cool mini laptop!

I agree really expensive for less then stellar raiting on almosted every thing
If it was around $500 it would be far easier to recommend. At $650 it should be more refined for sure.

Thuc Bui I wonder how this compares with the Pocket 2
Why you don't talk about the yoga feature more? I think it is a shame GPD doesn't have it...
It's so cute!
Can it handle retouching a 50 Megapixels photo in photoshop with many layers?

it has potential and serious competitor to gpd pocket 2 if the company fix the issues mentioned in the vid with a 8 inch screen and a webcam,,

Where did you get those laptop corner pads?
I got some furniture floor protector pads and cut them to size. Took a few tries to get it right.
Thanks! I like your review alot and the pad idea I think is great!
Does the pen included in the box?
You have to buy the one specifically advertising the pen, and it does not come with the AAAA battery
Really expensive
