I think the math is easy from there Max darkness was not super effective because Marshadow is part fighting. Nessa likely used a special damage Max Geyser Water Gun, plus STAB doing a lot more to Marshadow (Low SP. Def. with Rash) Edit: P.S. Bea is likely underage

Well this looked like fun ^^ I had recently had a discussion with someone who is a speedrunner of this game, of which they were discussing some pokemon to perform solo runs in, one of these pokemon that came up was alolan ninetales, of which allowed for some interesting strategies. Maybe you can try with your next run ^^

No one should take them too seriously and the main point really for showing them is for entertainment purposes. It is a game in the end after all. Of course, it can be fun seeing which Pokemon can solo a game entirely, whether using items or not.

The ability to heal instantly and double a single stat via battle item is vastly superior to any possible overleveling you do unless you grind to an absurd level like 85+ Beating a game with a single underleveld legendary isnt to hard to beat if you use items,its just time consuming when relying on good rng from AI actions.

It's like if you put a video titled "could a wolf eat a rabbit", show a wolf eating a rabbit at the end of the video, and I comment "lol it would be hard for a wolf to not eat a rabbit".

@Jacob Perry In the end its all about having fun, everyone picks the hard mons to go through and I get it, its hard. But at the end of the day I do these bc its fun, and challenging to a degree. If you want magikarp and feebas, maybe I'll do that one day but until then you can always catch those on jrose's channel

Try beating the game with a randomized team each gym battle. That could make it very interesting, depending on what you role. If you want, add a level cap of like uh, 5 levels lower than the gym leaders top pokemon.
