Dr. Bharathi, your research and knowledge and explanation is Amazing sir. Can you support people like us to grow Bamboo with buy back model. Thank you so much for this video Abhinav sir also. 🙏
Big Thanks to Bharathi sir for sharing such a detailed explanation of bamboo & it's related benefits. Thanks to Abhinav & his team for creating & sharing the videos related to Agriculture & plantations. Good Luck
Nice information. State governments should encourage farmers to grow bamboo by providing necessary support by putting industry CNG plants and other plants....
Great episode sir.. Thanks for the info sir. However more clarity is needed for CER concept. Plz try creating an individual video explaining the CER concept if possible
Ethanol burning releases carbon dioxide. Don’t spread misconception with ‘carbon neutral’ tag everywhere. The emissions coming from exploration and production of crude oil and then refining petrol from crude oil releases lot of carbon dioxide. We call carbon neutral because bamboo is made from atmospheric carbon converted to carbohydrate. But if you use fossil fuel for pyrolysis of bamboo or making ethanol from bamboo then it’s not fully carbon neutral. It’s good to replace fossil fuel with bio fuel. But please don’t spread misconception
It is carbon neutral because, you have a carbon cycle in place. Even if you release carbon in the process the plant that grows in future from your farm will absorb that carbon thus it acts as a close cycle. Petroleum is dug out and burned it is not again captured so the cycle is not continuous. Hope this answers your question.
@ thanks for your reply. The circularity you are talking about is the carbon emitted when ethanol is burnt. But to make ethanol from bamboo you need a process plant where something will be burnt as fuel. If it is diesel or some other form of fossil fuel, that part is still contributing to emissions of carbon from fossil fuel. For example power consumption in ethanol plant for electricity needs, you may import from a grid. There would be some emissions associated with the generation of grid electricity. So entirely carbon neutral is something which is doesn’t consume any form of fossil fuel. Don’t get me wrong, I support this bio fuel concept since bulk of emissions is reduced. But still proper accounting of carbon is required to make a meaningful transition of providing energy

Dr. Barathi, A very lucid presentstion. Once again you have provided invaluable information on bamboo, this time on extraction of energy from it.
It is not just Bamboo, the whole biomass energy is quite bright.
Thank you Dr Bharati and Abhinav
Thanks 😊
Beautiful content, thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Thanks so much for sharing this valuable information

There's a great future for the bamboo growers.
Loved the scientist's honesty and clever way to make people aware ❤
Thanks for your appreciation
Dr.N.Barathi
Very good informative ,thank you very much
Super information to people
Thank you sir

Astonished with the knowlege this person is having about the bamboo. I might have missed , can some one tell from where we can get the saplings?
bro your videos will help me in future
Happy to hear that❤️
Wonderful information sir
❤️
Iam a bamboo farmer... I grow bheema balkoa bamboo...
Excellent
Thanks 😊
Wonderful
