    What gauge wire do you use for trace repairs?

    Just do a board swap

      that's probably the way to go for most people, especially if you're going to have to remove the components anyway, and also especially if you can get a new board vs cannibalizing some other working cart for it.
      but dang, this repair style makes for some cool videos. there's something about "hey that trace is damaged, let's patch it" that just makes sense. it's like a tiny analogue of "hey something chewed through that wire, let's splice it."

      @@SidShakal I only do swaps if the edge connectors are bad or if someone asks for it. Otherwise trace repair because as you basically said, it's more fun and interesting :)
