Rajyaki is not only cute and nice but i like how her DLC have nothing but good endings ^^ Sure one is alittle more tragic than the other but hey, despite everything. She and him end up okay. Heck, may as well make an anime like this. If it stays cute with not too much drama and nobody dying while we still get a feel of how riskful it could be. Then it'd be Ranma level of a charm and feel. Except the fact that Rajyaki can change from kid, to adult(?) to demon(ess?) thanks to the magical mallet instead of being splashed with water and turn into a guy or something.
Btw, Speaking of the mallet. Would be awesome if there was one game where you could play as Issunboshi! Imagine playing as a really tiny yet skillful samurai against things way bigger than you while you run fast and jump great lengths :D
The part with momohime was awesome.
And after the revenge.oriented tale of Okoi, the funny-or-tragic tale of Gonbe, and the seriousness of Arashimaru's tale, we get to enjoy the funniest of them all: the tale of Rajyaki and her hopeless louthmouth of a hubby, Seikichi. Fun, ese!

This may be the first time I've seen a game that's made in Japan that is released abroad before it's native country.

I got to the final act with Momohime like two years ago and sorta stopped playing. and I just found out that there are 4 DLC.. I went and started a brand new game. gonna beat the main game with both characetrs, then gonna get all 4 DLC. my deepest apologies, my dear precious time xD

Been trying to piece together the storyline for the game and how all the tales interconnect. It's tricky. :(

+Asura Rajyaki, in particular, REALLY screwed up hard when she lost the 7 treasures lol. When I beat this DLC, at first I thought they just didn't feel like bothering finding the remaining three treasures, but then I realized that they were the catalysts to the other stories that set everything in motion. Arashimaru stole Bishamonten's lance from the Iga, leading to him getting cursed by Shirohebi and resulting in his storyline. Jurojin's magic gourd was what Okoi got from the Tanuki and drank for evil powers that drove her insane and made her live solely for revenge, leading to her cursing Jinkuro and causing him to try to obtain a new body, leading to the main storyline. And most important of all, the last lost treasure, Benzaiten's lute, was found by Mumyo who used it to become a powerful necromancer in the third DLC and gaining degrees of immortality. But that's not all, because he lived so long thanks to it, he was actually Senju Oboroya (guy Kisuke fused with)'s master, and he invented the Soul Transfer technique he passed down to Oboroya, who passed it down to Jinkuro who used it and ended up possessing Momohime!
Fun fact: both Kisuke and Arashimaru were kidnapped by the Iga clan ninjas 14 years ago before their story began. So they are 12-13 years old.
I've heard and understood how the Japanese write their languages with english letters. Going by how they pronounce words, they normally end with a vowel, not "y" or an "n" so the j seems to be giving me the cluster fuck of grammar. I've seen enough anime to know, I need to ask the question. Is Rajyaki actually Japanese or did someone completely fuck up the name? It feels real, but I'm too lazy at the moment to do a 3 second google search.

Actually you got hit at least 6 times from what I saw. You cheating or something? What's the point?
HayaneHayaokimasu When you press the attack button on the moment of the attack, the damage is negated.
It's called hit recovery among the guides. It works only on easy and fury.
You have to defend at the exact moment you get hit. I recommend using defense on another button such as L, it makes it easier.
