  • This is a step-by-step tutorial on how I’ve been styling my wavy hair lately. I love it because it is so quick & easy, requires no heat, & I only use 2 lightweight curly products. The end result is so voluminous, weightless & soft!

I am new to my wavy/curly journey. What products did you use to wash and condition your hair?

Alexis! Your hair is truly amazing done this way!!!
    Thank you for sharing...
    so many really helpful tips
and it's really smart that you chose to use a leave in spray for the base product, since wet hair promotes curl clumps!
See? I knew that air drying could give a great result...this proves that you don't have to diffuse hair dryer dry to get a pretty result! (Unless you have curlier hair and need tight curls!)
Us who are wavy to slightly curly have options!!!😽💕

Thank you! I have air dried my hair all along when I have the time, I only ever use a diffuser if I’m in a time crunch! 🥰

Hey there! Thanks so much for your hair videos. This is the fourth or fifth I've watched from your channel lol! Your hair looks beautiful!
I just donated my hair again but this time, I didn't grow it out as long as I usually do before cutting - so now I have short hair and my natural waves that I have been neglecting for too long are so prevalent now lol. So I figured I might as well embrace them while my hair is short because why not lol!
After watching all your videos, I still have a few questions.
First, the easiest - I'm afraid to towel scrunch-dry my hair after applying all products because I'm thinking the towel would also take out the product from my hair. How does the towel not take out the product?
Second - I'm not big into products lol. With my long hair, the most I used out of the shower was heat protectant! Just did a quick blow dry and my hair usually went right into a bun lol. So I'm very confused still about the purpose for the necessary products.
It seems like the first necessary product is the leave in conditioner. Purpose of that is hydration, right?
Second necessary product in all your videos seems to be a curl cream of sorts. I'm guessing this just helps encourage wave pattern?
Third necessary (I think?) product I've seen you use is a mousse, after the curl cream. Is this acting like hairspray to hold the curls in place?
Please correct anything and add any clarification! Thanks so much for the help and keep those hair videos coming for us! Maybe do one showing what you do on those days you're in a hurry to get out the door! 😁

I am just learning how to style my waves. I had a hair trim today and my stylist recommended the WOW curly hair product. I bought it and I am excited to style my hair for later today. Thanks for your informative videos. They are very helpful as I learn how to make wavy hair work for me.

How exciting!! I think you’ll love dream coat, it’s such a miracle product!! So glad you found the video helpful 🥰 it may take some time and practice to nail down your routine but I found the trial and error process so worth it because I love my waves now more than ever!

It can take time to learn what exact products and techniques will work for you! It’s a fun journey that I’ve been on about a year or so. I have beach waves , not curls , and it’s fine. I find wow doesn’t work for me , but it does for many and I think it’s a fantastic product , it’s just not great for me. I find rockaway from r and co works great. My advice is to buy a bunch of trial size products and play. I prefer cleaner products and very little heat. Her hair is more curly and thicker , so i personally need some additional help with mine. I curl some random pieces to make it more textured and have volume ( I wouldn’t if I had her hair lol ). All about what works for our individual hair types. Alexis gives some fantastic ideas and I have learned a lot from her. I just bought the brush she recently showed. I’m excited to try it.

While she only used two product she sprays a ton of the curl cream per section. I think she used the whole bottle in this video. Her hair is beautiful but it’s a lot of product.

2 hours for it to dry, though?!

You can diffuse instead! My hair is pretty thick so air drying always takes time. It’s more important to me to use as little heat as possible so I wash my hair on a day where I know I’ll be home for at least the first half!
