One of most favorite Iron Bowls. 1985, 1990 and this one. To me "The Kick" in '85 tops them all. Then 1990 16-7 after 4 disappointing years, then this one.
Auburn played well, holding Ingram to 30 yards rushing. On offensive they played well burning Bama on blitzes and keeping Bama off balance with the trickery. Bama started making plays on both sides of the ball in the 2nd quarter. Then a Bama coverage bust on the deep pass from Todd to Adams for the TD for Auburn to regain the lead. Then Bama chips away at the lead with the field goals and ultimately setting up "the championship drive". Auburn's still fighting on "thr drive" as Antonio Coleman sacks McElroy on one of the plays. Great job by both teams and by Bama to find a way to maintain the perfect season to manhandle the Florida Gators 32-13 the next week after no one gave Bama a chance in that game, then ultimately the national championship defeating TX 37-21 in Pasadena.
Nothing does my heart any happier than seeing the barn in tears😢. Nobody deserves it more. 4TH AND 31😂😂😂😂😂

Why, Zachary didn't make it to the NFL? He was one of the best in his class.

Nick Saban is the only coach to break through Jordan Hare Stadium not Gene Stallings.
Dubose won there in 1999...
Dubose in '99 and Dennis Franchione in 2001.
