I don't know about that, Landman played admirably when given his opportunity, which he catapulted into another one year deal. But Troy Anderson is more athletic and faster with length at 6/4. He can cover tightends. Look for the Falcons to have four linebacker sets some times.
Yeah landman he took the job for sure I love our lb room Ellis landman troy and now Bertrand he is gonna be good excited to see how he fits in troy could be the odd man out I could see him moving into an outside rusher role more
I don't know about that. It's a 3/4 defense. You can play all your linebackers in the same set. I like Landman he stepped in and played admirably. But I think Ellis will get alot of reps, he faster that Landman more athletic and can cover tightends with his 6/4 frame .
Guess you could say Matt Ryan and Matt Stafford are mediocre as well then. Because on a per game basis Cousins surprisingly has both of those guys beat in the majority of the numbers you look at for a QB. I look at Cousins the same way i look at those dude in a top 7 to 10 area QB not in the elite group but right behind them. But all 3 of them can put up elite numbers every now and then for a season. Cousins was on pace last year before injury to put up MVP type numbers and would have been in talks for it if he had kept his pace the rest of the season.

But lets not forget in ryans 1st 5 playofs he went the same record as kirks 1st 5 1-4 and their numbers in those games were far off from each other. It's only after those 1st 5 games where Ryan started to rack up some wins and broke that stigma of not being able to get the job done. But even then i consider wins/losses a team effort thing. because a Qb can play well in the playoffs and still lose if the defense is sucking. I'll also say in general Ryan has had better teams around him than Kirk imo too.

If Rg3 never gets hurt, Cousins NEVER starts. In 2016 without Matt, we don't make that Superbowl appearance. Kirk is the best of backup quarterbacks in the game and a master at getting maximum $$$ for minimum production.

Tbh Troy would be a better olb to me. Only thing he missing is he needs to know what gaps to hit at 6’4 with 4.4 speed the sky is the linit
