Everything about the first season was gold. The story. The dialogue. The pressure of making decisions. I love it. Even the music score was awesome. Never has any other game made me feel so involved and connected to the characters. Truly a masterpiece

i remember the first time discovering the walking dead game, it was already 3 episodes in, i saw the trailers and was just blown away by the fact we get to be the ones to choose our choices and dialogues
It’s hard to look at this fondly when you see how shit the workers where treated, how management (even the 2 featured in this video) were scummy, the money mismanagement and so much more. Like so much of the gaming industry, it’s just a massive lie that seems nice and underneath is corruption, crunch time and general shit.
yall can say whatever you want, season 1 was the best one. season 2 is good, and season 3 is.... ok, and season 4 is great. But season 1, was just it man, it was great, still is great. Its good, gameplaywise, characterwise, choicewise and relationwise. If i had to choose a season to play it would be the first.
I’d put season 2 a bit higher than just good. It’s the second best season imo even tho there’s a lot of missed potential with stuff they could’ve done in season 2.

A master class in story telling. Absolutely fantastic. I really hope in the future, they consider doing a sequel with AJ all grown up.

Truly one of the best story based games I've played and only one of two that choked me up and had tears flowing. The other being The Last of Us.
