This part needs so much more attention in the DSMP lore, esp regarding Dream's characterization and Quackity's antagonism against Dream. Thing is, I agree that Eret is a better king than Gogy ever was, but Dream's callous disregard for the viewpoint of others shines through so well in his posture here, it makes things SO tense and sets the stage for tragedies to come. What a brilliant gem, well done!!
Thank you! The Mexican L'Manberg streams are some of my favorites for how much insight they give into not just Dream and Quackity, but George and Sapnap as well. This was such a big turning point in c!Dream Team's relationship, I think, and it's really interesting that while Dream's arguments came off as more sound (I think at least), he still manages to handle the situation poorly enough to escalate the conflict and push his friends away (attacking Mexican L'Manberg when he caught wind of their dissent, and making further threats to Quackity to force them to stay in line, for instance). These are such fascinating characters!
I love the debates on the SMP so much. The political and personal conflicts and how they clash and/or go together are so good. And I think we can learn a surprising amount from them too sometimes by taking the principles discussed and trying holding them up to real world examples and seeing if we think they’re true/effective or not.
This series is so underrated!!! Not only are these great animatics but it’s also a really engaging part of the story that I think very few people in the fandom nowadays are aware of, and it deserves a solid set of animatics like this. Keep it up!!!

Wow!! Just got this in my recommendeds and just.. wow!! Loving everything about this! Big fan of the Balance between realism, fantasy and game appearances (in the characters, especially their faces, but also the environment and all the little details otherwise). Could immediately tell who was who, despite the voices, and the body language was on point! From Dream's dynamic gesturing to Sapnap's bit with the Sword and fire, and even George's subtleties, everything came together and made this vid feel so much more alive than some others I've seen! An attention grabbing animation I'll surely share and save to every place I can. You've earned a like and a sub, my dude - keep it up! Can't wait to binge the others
Dream may be right, but he’s certainly not moral. I can agree with Dream for the most part about Quackity, but Quackity already acknowledged his wrongs and is making up for it and Dream is treating his efforts like it does not amount to anything like he’s still the same like before only wanting power for the sake of power, I can also agree with Dream about George being a unsatisfactory ruler and Eret being better, but he is wrong about the reasons why George wants to be king since Dream says that it’s for power but is disregarding George’s true feelings and calling them childish which they kinda are but isn’t welling to listen to him about his reasons being that he feels betrayed by Dream about taking away what he gave him so half heartedly and treating him like a chess piece when George thought he was his friend and equal, I can also agree with Dream saying that a season why Sapnap is againinst him because he’s angry with him but is that really invalid? Since Dream did treat him like a pawn just like George with Sapnap thinking that they were friends and that Dream cares about him, not to mention with Dream outright saying that he doesn’t care for him, treating Sapnap’s hurt and betrayal that he feels for him like some childish tantrum. All in all I feel like these are some pretty big red flags of a toxic relationship, even if Dream is right does it really make him good?
Honestly Dream did C.Dream so well, most villains in other franchises don’t usually make me feel so much but C.Dream out right makes me want to strangle him to death with all his nefarious bulshit.
Like, can you tell me how you would feel if you where obviously hurting and your best friend says your just being dramatic, or if you feel angry towards somebody that hurt you and your friend says your just being petty, or if you made a mistake and are trying to make up for it only for a person do disregard it and say that you’ll never grow from it.
