"Angel's Fear" was composed by Hiroki Kikuta, who also returned to write the Visions of Mana theme "Ties of Fate."
July was another free month over at Dwelling of Duels, and with the upcoming release of Visions of Mana, I wanted to cover the music from the trailers for a bit of hype. I assumed the first motif would be the game's main theme because it was also in the announcement trailer. I considered doing a big medley from all the Mana games (and maybe I will, later), but I ended up making this shorter medley for the contest and it got a pretty good reception. I did throw in the first three notes of "Rising Sun" at measure 20 as a nod to the rest of the series. The title is a little pun since Visions wasn't even out yet. 😁

The themes sound similar enough that I think Kikuta did it intentionally, so a medley seemed like an obvious choice. 🙂
