I think they just use drivers to buy them those trucks themself Truck that’s 350-600 per week means you can not take nor than 3 days off I own my 09 prostar clancker and I can star home for weeks just have to pay my insurance 1500 a month that’s it

I've bought a 2021 kenworth t680 in 17 months. Truck had 86k miles when I got in it now the trucks got 240k miles with a brand new apu on it. Not all lease purchases are scams. Super ego how ever is a scam company. Where I'm at I book all my own loads and was able to turn a 3 year lease into a 17 month lease.
Can you talk about the specs of the Cascadia? What did you feel you needed to do to get it "where you needed it"? The 4 cent/MI maint charge covers all maint? Is the truck a condo and set up with two bunks? I appreciate the info.

I think they have options to double dip you. They can skim the rate and also take your 12%. Or if the load has been double, triple brokered and is super low, there may not be enough to skim, but they'll still get their 12%.

Hope you also put down the $4,600, for the IFTA, and deposit, other wise you be getting small checks for about 6-8 weeks. Best thing to do is put that down you be more successful. You have guys who had their own trucks and fleets go there and fail so what makes you think you will do well. It’s 100 companies on Craigslist offering lease on Craigslist and somehow so many of you want to go to one that’s been talked about the most only because they have jerked around so many. You have people who went making $100 a week for multiple weeks. They are a trash carrier that will have you making less money than company drivers at these other companies. DO YOUR RESEARCH instead of falling for stuff like this guy. His first pay check net average was $.60 cpm which is less than most 1099 jobs pay. Why deal with that nonsense when you can do the same job and be paid $.070-.80 cpm without worrying about paying for truck notes and fuel. Get your llc set up, then get your EIN number, then open up a business bank account and get some checks. If you didn’t know already and never sign a lease under your SSN because you will be taxed at a higher rate.
