Amazing accuracy of sounds compared to what other people create for Nord. I will purchase you packs first thing after buying Kurzweil. Jean. Pink Floy. Carrie.
What an amazing piece of hardware + your talent. Are these songs predefined on the keyboard? I am looking for my next keyboard to play 80s and other pop songs and K2700 looks like a perfect gear. Weighted keyboard, key workstation features, action, great quality and reviews, reasonable price when compared to Nord (which is more a stage piano, mainly). I don't like Yamaha's design.
Hi, thanks! These sounds are all made by me, they are not factory presets. All workstations are fine for making 80s music. k2700 has great sound at a great price but not very intuitive at first. If you don't like montage you can also consider korg nautilus (I have kronos). Greetings
@@FabioSynthNautilus has bad reviews when compared to Yamaha and Kurzweil. I like K the most. Montage is out of my precise range and I am not big fun of Yamaha (action and sounds). Thanks for your advice.
It's difficult to answer. k2700 is cheap with great sounds but the first few times it is not intuitive and sounds "old", which can be a good thing. Montage is very versatile but I don't like hammonds and would like more "powerful" analog synths. The M version should be much better. Nautilus (I have Kronos) could be a good compromise between price and quality. Even if it doesn't have flash memory and the management of arpeggios is not as intuitive as on montage in my opinion. It depends on what you like, the discussion is much longer! :D
First, excellent playing. I commend you. Second, Holy disappointment Batman.... Maybe I'm just "old" (53) and my ears are bad, but this doesn't even sound like a Kurzweil to me. I've owned a K2000, a K2500, a K2600 and a K2661. I still have the K2600 and the K2661 and to my ears this doesn't sound anything like them. Maybe nostalgia is fooling me? Either way, great playing.
@@FabioSynth Your talent is far beyond/above my own, but even at my level Kurzweil's gave me great inspiration and enjoyment. I hope you enjoyment of the K2700 matches your level of talent.
No, you are correct. Another video contrasts a K2700 against a K2500 or a K2600, while using a frequency analyzer, and it shows that the older model puts out much more harmonic distortion.
@@yepyep3897 Thank you! I feel certain synths have an iconic "sound" to them and wasn't sure if that was leading me to hear things that weren't there, or if there really is a difference. If you hear that Fairlight "Ah" sound or that "Orchestral hit", you immediately know what synth it is. Same with the DX 7 "Hammer bass" or "electric piano" or "harmonica". Or the M1 "House piano" or "Universe" patch. I've always felt that Kurzweil also had its own sound. Maybe not any patch in particular, but definitely as a whole...and to my old ears, this doesn't have it. :(
@sharingmatters need more knobs lol. I think roland system 8 was a good mix of small screen and tactile. Fantom also is a solid tactile and screen mix.

Thanks for support me!
Dude...the high part on Africa!...that sounded pretty legit to me.
Great Song 👍 Great Performance 👍 Keep it up, I hope to hear more from you soon 🙂👍
How did you like the K2700? Esp. in comparison to your Nord and the Montage?
Awesome
Sounds great !
Can someone please tell me if this thing has the vocal sounds like jazz scats.

@@FabioSynththank you. I considered Nord Piano 5 and K2700 but I lean towards Kurzweil. More versatile.
Excellent
Thank you!
How do you like your k2700 so far? Does it compare to the PC3k8? How do you like the keybed?
Amigo você teria sopro e flauta dos timbres da musica Sledgehammer do Peter Gabriel, vlw
I’m sorry but I haven’t sladgehammer patch, not yet!
Can this work on the k2600?
I’m sorry but these sounds are available only for k2700 and pc4

That silly tiny screen! Some of us are older than 30! LOL
sometimes it's better than touchscreen :D
I start to believe it is more handy than clunky Modx touchscreen. In cars we go back to knobs.

@@Curious_Skeptic it is easier to turn your air con temp using a knob than going through 5 touch screens... but you are right about Roland.
For 80s K2700 d better, isn’t it, gents?
For 80's music all workstations are fine, furthermore k2700/PC4 - kronos/nautilus - Montage/Modx have the FM synthesis engine
