Synwin is an amazing store. They are the most patient people in the world. It's more about his expertise rather than his actual communication skills. He was still good when talking to them, of course, but the fact that you can trust what you're talking about reduces the pressure on you a lot because you can take charge of the conversation. That's why you can see a bit of awkwardness with Brett and Eddy when they were talking to Chloe Chua since the pressure to do good and talking about the topic correctly was on them.
Aside from all that (good point that they were only nervous here, with Chloe they were EXTREMELY NERVOUS) Eddy has good customer service skills, lots to improve but good over all. Brett has LOTS of areas of improvement.
Upon viewing of the whole thing his tech expertise gained him a lots of points for the rubber to stop the indenting on the bridge. Surely they DO KNOW their stuff.

My orchestra instructor worked at a music shop and roasted my playing whenever I showed up. It came from a good place though 😂
Usually the people that work in a music shop know a thing or two about playing.

Brett and Eddy: "But the second one for 1500$ sounded better!"
Shop owner (thinking): "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU SHOULD SELLL THE THIRD ONE FOR 2500$!!!"
xD Fortunately most salespeople (including owners) want you to walk away with the product you're the most happy with and that will work the best for you, rather than just the most expensive one. We don't want to feel like we're scamming you, and we want you to have a great experience so that you come back! A happy customer who keeps coming back will make you much more money (and much better advertising) than a dissatisfied customer making a single large purchase ^_^
More expensive things dont always correlate to more profit margin btw. It sells for more but may be more costly to stock in the first place.
Synwin is a really nice shop. Was shopping for a nicer violin and they let my try a few expensive violins and were generally very nice.
