I don’t buy a lot of tackle but I always pay attention when ESP bring something new to market as I know it’s going to be good and not just something to sucker cash from anglers 😀👍
made up these are coming out, the Drennan specialist one is so good also, its just that little bit too small though for bigger carp, this is perfect cant wait to grab one!
Looks an excellent design & bit of kit, I’ll be straight out to get one when available. I just hope some serious thought has been put into the quality of string that’s used to pull the sides up as wet string and pressure doesn’t take long to become weak and snap 👍👍
I was looking for a mat for stalking, glad I waited for this one, I was a bit worried the compact would be a bit small, but worry not it's spot on great bit of kit, just need to christen it now 😉
Like the look of these. I’d prefer a safety flap to Velcro over the top when carrying back to the water. A stink bag to put it in while in the car would be good aswell
I like it. In the video, did I see an external eyelet to peg down and stop it from blowing away in windy weather, as there was no mention of it and I would've thought it was a standard essential on all mats?
Been nice to have kneeling bit compartment for scales weigh bar ect deff a bag to keep in as dont want wet stinky mat in car deff puts me off buying one for sure
This looks exactly what I need - don’t want any of that extra stuff. Just want a mat. Only worthy addition would be something you didn’t mention and that would be somewhere to keep carp care liquids but they can just live wrapped up inside
Not convinced that a single draw string is going to last that long. Will rot pretty quick after being soaked all the time. Not a particularly padded mat either. I'll stick to my thinking anglers matt I think.
No reason why it should rot and it will be in in tandem with the life cycle of the rest of the met. They have had a lost of use in development and we've had no problems. Any issues and our after care is good, too!
Sorry ESP, your products are usually mega, but these ESP Quickdraw Mats are simply awful and should be banned from all waters, they really are that bad. God only knows what Alfie and Jack were 'extensively' testing, but it clearly could not have been these mats. Negatives, extremely thin padding in base, floppy sides even when cords are fully tightened to name a few of many downsides. Strong and handy to transport, but what good is that if fish welfare is compromised totally. Simply put, carp are not secure or safe in this mat. Shame because ESP gear is usually outstanding. good idea in principle, but in reality this mat is not fit for purpose and should never have been bought to market.
@@horrorfreaklondon3037 if you've ever cought a decent fish you'd clearly understand ??And please answer why it looks good for a bit of floater fishing??your just trying to sound cool ,when you have no idea
@@leewilliams5460lol why would it be good for floater fishing ?? im surprised an expert like yourself wouldnt have realised this is a compact mat aimed at mobile anglers ? and stalking and floater fishing are generally mobile activities ? do i need to continue ?? its called a "quickdraw" clues in the name ffs
These look fantastic, great work ESP.

Just bought one. Looks brilliant
Looks great! Love the esp stuff
when is this out ?
Mega product.. Want to try one for my river carp care
If its ESP then its a winner.
Very nice...👌
Sold when & where can I get one 👌
Simple, clever solution.........
The buckles on the mat are they removable or will the female side be available so that it can be attached to bags other than the esp one?
They are standard clips. Any camping shop should have them.
Looks good
Yes! when is the release date, how long before team korda come out with something similar - Fairbrass go and think of something yourself
Will these mats clip on the drennan specialist rucksack please? It looks almost identical in design to the quickdraw rucksack
A stalkers dream.
great work ,I want one , price ?

It’s not going to blow away with a carp in it 😂
At around 2m 15secs you can see an eyelet for pegging down
There is a pegging point, although we'd only unroll it if you needed to rather than leave it setup.
I want one 😫 🤣
How thick is the padding on the base ?
Very nice, well designed, what prices are we looking at?
What will be the price of each ?
awesome
What's the rrp on the compact please?
Will these be available soon?
Nice!
RRP please
When were how Who
