This episode's true winner. I know that Kim Gunmo is a legend in Korea but if you'll compare their performance with this performance, Kim Taewoo and little giant did a whole lot better. I appreciated KGM's stage but this performance touched my heart. 😊

The first time I heard and watched the video with my girlfriend, I was err okay but in the middle of the song I started reading the sub and I was like "oh, it's good". Watched it again and then it struck me to the heart. The lyrics itself broke me to half and brought me to tears. Mama died a week before my birthday and whenever I hear and read the sub, it still hurt. Thank you for uploading the video. ♥️♥️♥️

this song make my tears running down from my eyes.... My Mom has two daughters.. that was me and my older sister.... this song reminds me of how my Mom often got called from school because of me beatened boys who bullied me. Black and blue on my face cause of the fight, and even 1 boy a locked him in the male toilet with a padlock... it made his parents worried and looking for him about 1 1/2 hours in the school to find him. My Mom knew I who did it so she hit me a bamboo stick on my calf until it red and lots of scar.... She knew I did that for defence myself from his gangs.. but still she said it was wrong made other parents worried wondering where their child has gone....

I had this good friend of mine who is not into kpop or any korean culture. One day he went to our house and I played this on our TV with captions on and he started crying. His story is some what similar to the song, in our elementary to high school days sometimes he goes with out eating lunch so I had to share some with him. I know their current state that time as they own a small store at our local wet market place and his mom works so hard just to get by. They sell this gelatin type of food that his mom makes everyday, and I tell you thats really toxic to make because of the fumes.
Until one day he texted me that his mom already passed away due to lung cancer, his mom work so hard for him just to give him a bright future.This song reminded him of his mom so much and I started to cry with him

This hit me hard...bring back memories. My parents would go out everyday and night to sale tamales taking us along. My mother wouldn't eat so that we would full ourselves up. They worked multiple jobs to support all 4 of us. We moved from house to house, a total of 17, almost living in the streets. It took 22 years, when we all started working and saving money, to finally get our own house, I'm 23. I feel as though I still haven't done enough as the youngest. I owe them a lot.

Kim Tae Woo is to Korea what Boyz II Men were to USA. Perfect pitch, crystal clear vocal that pierces through and works that voice like anything. Absolutely one of the best voice till date, and also thank you G.O.D for making timeless classics like this.
The little guy's voice is really powerful but this song seems like it was intentionally written for Kim Tae Woo, his voice just perfectly portrays the emotion of this song. 😭😭
G.O.D should be a national treasure .. every kpop fan everyone youngester in Korea should know them and appreciate them ... G.O.D songs have been a solace a shoulder to many ... i didn't realize it back than when i got to know them through my idols and became their fan thanlfully but now rewatching this performance this thought bumped to my head how much of light of hope G.O.D has been throughout these years that theirs songs are sung by idols and young singers till this day ..

I didn't know why idols had a look of reverence and maybe like a bit star-struck at the mere mention of "g.o.d sunbaenim" until I started listening to their songs and looking up old videos. Wow it's like everyone from young and old knew their songs. Buskers start singing One Candle and the crowd around starts clapping along and singing the chorus as one. Road and To Mother makes people cry. Friday Night makes you want to jump up and dance. Timeless classics. They aren't unanimously called "the nation's group" for nothing.

Every time i watch this i cry...the little giant has such an amazing soulful, soothing voice! He has what it takes to be a fantastic singer! KTW is amazing as well, but little giant slayed it for me.
I lost my sweet mother in Oct. 2015 and this song touches my heart even more so now that shes gone. People hugs your moms and let them know you love them and are so grateful for all their sacrifices b/c one day you will wake up and she wont be there anymore :((

I showed my grandma this video and other Fantastic Duos on Oct 13th 2020. One month later, November 13th 2020 I lost her to cancer. She was a mom to me and my older brother. I can never hear this video the same way I did months ago. This hits different now.
98년 imf사태가 터지고 온통 망한 나라, 망한 기업들, 자식을 죽이고 자살한 부모들 소식이 뉴스에서 끊임 없이 나오던 시대였다. 겨우 2000원짜리 짜장면도 2그릇도 못 시키는 가족들이 수두룩했다. 우리집고 그랬고. 그런 시대를 위로하는 대표적인 노래였다.

I never had a mom growing up, just a cold grandmother. Makes me wish in my old age I had a mom. However it makes me miss my boys more than anything. They are all grown up with families of their own but in quarantine I can't see them. Shame so many in America do not love and appreciate their moms. I am blessed my 3 boys always check on me, come and visit all the time. Maybe one day we can all be together again.
