Why do we need to have our documents notarized? Why is notarization important? (Bakit kailangang ipa-notaryo ang dokumento?)
Notarization is not an unnecessary burden. It plays a very important purpose in many transactions.
Not only that it makes sure that the person affixing his/her signature in the document is the actual person who is a party to it; it also ensures that the parties to the document did sign the document freely and voluntarily.
Notarization also converts the private document into a public document. Because of this, the document can be relied upon by the courts, the government agencies, and by the general public.
A notarized document is presumed to be genuine and duly executed.

Doesn't this constitute falsification of public document since there is fraud jn it and was notarized
Hi Sir, I am currently working abroad pero bago ako umalis ng pinas may nagsanlang-tira po sa akin na one bedroom style apartment mo ang dating ,nk contract po sya ng two years bale ang pina-tubo lng ay ung pagtira dun ng walang upa kaso po umabot na ng ilang taon di pa din natutubos sa akin ano po ang dapat kong gawin.Naka notarized lng po sya kaso di ko na renew nung nag expired ung date sa kadahilanang nasa ibang bansa ako. Hopefully matulungan nio po ako kong paano ko mabawi ung Pera.

Hi Sir, I am currently working abroad and I am sending documents (SPA) to my sister to have it notarized in the Philippines. Base on your explanation I can just make a video call / video conference to the lawyer who will notarized my documents. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thank you.
Hindi po. Under the Interim Rules issued by the Supreme Court, you need to be in the Philippines and within the jurisdiction wherein the Notary Public is authorized to do notarization.
@@YourLawyer thank you for your reply Sir, that means I need to ask Philippine Embassy here in UK to notarised 10 copies of SPA, I am not sure if I am allowed. 😊
