      @@IronHorseRailways the Class 60 is a nice locomotive and I really enjoyed them when I used to live in England.

    So were did it work the freight train too? And how heavy was it? As usually recordings are done under load on lines with inclines etc to get that “loco working hard” full wide open sound, I’m intrigued to know cheers 🙂

      Yes it did haul a load of Ballast wagons whilst being recorded.

      Get the Accurascale model mate. It is cheaper and more heavier too.

      @BritishRail60062 If he can't afford the cavalex one he can't afford the Accurascale one. There's £25 in it and for the difference in price I know which one I would choose.

      @@outonroad Exactly my thoughts mate. In my opinion. I find the Accurascale model is better value for money and I respect that they try to give value back to the user whilst improving in their models in the process.

    I am getting the Accurascale Class 60 model instead. Its heavier, cheaper and will be better on the wallet for me. I go where I am treated best.

    • @outonroad
      @outonroad 2 месяца назад +11

      Heavier, not relevant as the Cavalex one will haul anything that the prototype will haul, mammoth weight is just a strawman feature. Cheaper, it's in the same ball park and in our opinion you get what you pay for. As for your treatment, we have customer service that is second to none. The issue that you had with your class 56 was an issue that needed attention under warranty which you didn't choose to contact us about. Instead you chose to make a you tube video stating its haulage capacity was poor due to its 4 axle drive and then sell the loco on rather than get it looked at. If you had bothered to contact us then we would have corrected the loco and you would have been happy, you instead went all over social media slating the drive system and got bruised when hoards of satisfied customers told you that you were wrong. None of that is our fault, we are more than happy to help anyone who has an issue with any of our models.

      @@outonroad I think the problem is that either you or another moderator muted me on RMWeb in the Cavalex Models section on the forum because I called it out. That's not acceptable to treat customers like this. You could learn a lot from Accurascale as they have never treated me like that and they have always been professional with me.

    • @outonroad
      @outonroad 2 месяца назад +3

      @BritishRail60062 We have never treat you like that either. We don't have the ability to mute anyone on RMWeb. We have no interest in muting people or censoring what content is displayed on RMWeb or any social media full stop unlike another manufacturer does (AS). We are quite happy to discuss and resolve any issues anyone may have. Now that RMWeb has changed its manufacturer policy it will now only get worse, offering those that pay more the ability to self moderate on there. Needless to say we will be withdrawing from the forum moving forward. It's no longer a fair and impartial forum.

    • @BritishRail60062

      @@outonroad To be honest mate. I don't use RMWeb much anymore because I find their attitude on there does stink towards some people like myself and there are other media platforms such as Facebook Groups and here on RUclips that are way better than RMWeb. RMWeb in my opinion is still living in 1992 and most of the moderators on there need to grow up. Personally I don't have anything personal against you buddy as having spoken with you many times in the past. I think you are a decent person to deal with on the whole. Even if we have a disagreement. I do respect the fact that you are trying to bring something fresh and new to the table. Looking forward to seeing the progress on the second run of the Class 56's and I may give it another go.

      @outonroad 2 месяца назад +2

      @BritishRail60062 Thanks buddy. As I said we are very much committed to customer service and go above and beyond for anyone that gets in touch with an issue. RMWeb with their latest manufacturer contracts has overstepped a line as far as I am concerned.
