Vaati was a great antagonist. What I loved about him in this game was that he was a constant presence throughout the story, rather than just appearing once and then at the end. He was a constant thorn in Link's side the whole time, instead of just being told that he's a thorn in your side.
let's see... first transformed zelda into stone... broke the minish sword and visibly freed all the monsters... trapped you in hyrule field... took over hyrule by supplanting the king and almost became the most powerful being using the light force If we think about other zelda villains that are the final boss... You stop the return of demise many times during skyward sword... Ganondorf is the one who cursed jabu jabu and the deku tree, infested dodongo's cavern with dodongos, but those are things the characters told you about... the only visible thing ganondorf did on the player's perspective is killing the royal guards, pursuiting zelda, take the chance on the door of time opened by you, send phantom ganon to the space between dimensions and then the final boss... but that was good anyway because the kid slowly catched up with the evil king... in twlight princess ganondorf is the plot twist, the built zant's character the same way they did with vaati, but twisted that plot after... majora's mask impending doom was always there, always visible... of every zelda game i played, they have good antagonists uh... TL;DR: Of all the zelda games i've played, Vaati isn't the only well written antagonist
Vaati is probably the coolest Zelda villain to me, at least in the way that he didn’t seem destined for power or even start out powerful; he just had a desire to grow stronger and created his own goals to gain essentially godlike powers, even without the Triforce itself. He started literally as a no one, and at least for a moment, had the ability to bend reality to his whims. I wish he got a little more limelight in other games like Hyrules Warriors or something... ...but this remix of his theme is great! Awesome job!
Yeah, other Zelda games really focus on their villains more but when Vaati reappeared in four swords he was just a puppet for Ganon... Just... why? Felt like a low blow to my favorite Zelda villain
Vaati is such an underestimated vilain. He's not a Ganondorf destined to be a conqueror or some demon king reincarnated. He was just a simple Picori seeking for power and he went out of his way to bend the reality to his will.
Wish they make a remake of the amazing minish cap or do a new game with vaati as an antagonist. I don't understand why they wasted such an amazing villain like him. Also great remix, the chorus adds a more opresive feel that fits with vaati theme.
Thank you so, so much!!! You've done such an incredible job with his theme, and I'm so appreciative. When I commed the song, I couldn't wait to hear what you would do with that little instrumentation that starts up at 0:10, and you really built that out into the full theme and built upon what little of his song there was before.
I would definitely love to see Vaati return sometime. Same with the Twili. Not in a central way like in Twilight Princess, but it'd be nice to see them show up.
To think that this awesome concept for a villain originated in a _bonus game_ [that required multiple players] which came with the GBA port of "A Link to the Past".
Vaati is my second favorite non Ganondorf/Ganon villain from Zelda, my first being Majora. Vaati had a constant presence throughout the whole adventure
To this day I'm certain nintendo teased Vaati in OOT. In the shooting gallery you can find a wanted poster that depicts a flying one eyed monster. around 3 years later Vaati made his first appearance in four swords. Also Vaati is the only antagonist that was featured in multiple zelda games aside from ganon. they even removed Aghanim in the reimagining of ALTTP (aka ALBTW) and the last time Vaati was seen in a new game was 4 swords adventures by nintendo themself. Later on for the 25th anniversary we've gotten the 4 swords anniversary edition with Vaati as the main villain. Zelda Minish cap is playable on almost every nintendo console ever since the GBA version launched >GBA/SP - Original release >GC - Playable via GB player >Wii - not available >DS/DSi/DS light - Playable due to bac kwards compabillity >3ds - given out as part of the ambassador program >switch - part of the GBA NSO package Nintendo really wants us to know Vaati like really. I feel like he's gonna become important again in the near future. It's possible Miyamoto designed vaati and had Capcom use him as the GBA lacked zelda titles in general he probably wanted to ensure that he had enough impact as he often does in this kind of projects. (Paper mario sticker star is a notorious example.)
THANK YOU ! Your arrangement of the theme of Vaati is the best I ever heard ! =) (Can I use it for a 10-second intro of a non-monetized video if I credit you ?) Keep up your great work !
Vaati and Gannon are amazing villains, but 2 sides of the same coin. Gannon despite all his power, rules through deception and distrust crumbling entire nations through his poison words. Vaati just gives you a time limit, no monolog no preamble, just "Ah crap vaatis here, I'd explain further but that would give him more time."

While I know he isn't the final boss, Girahim in Skyward Sword is a pretty damn good antagonist that pops up several times throughout the story.
@@Kylin_Phoenix_Vartilo Ghirahim is as good as Vaati, if not better.
@@pirategamer6630 true i cared more for him then Demise
@@jojomuppet1820 Fr tho. Demise was awesome but Ghirahim was..
Hell yeah

Definitely should've had a playable appearance in Hyrule Warriors. He'd automatically be my most-played character.
@@whiteraven1992 This!! His design in TMC is just so amazing; the colours, the clothes, the ominous flowing...

The love for Vaati is amazing right now, amazing work!
That one dislike is from Vaati itself
Minish Cap has great tracks, good to see you diving into it :)
Amazing! I can image the fight between link and vaati while this play!
Love the tension you're able to create every time GO GO GO :)

Minish Cap music! This is fantastic!

OMG THANK YOU SO MUCH! I love vaati and all of his instrumentals, you do so great with your music
This version sounds like Ghirahim's theme
We need Vaati to come back in the series ;-;
That little ocarina bit is like the cherry on the sundae :D
I’ve waited Years for someone to make this!
THANK YOU NOBLE DEMON AND NAJA SIDE YOU GUYS HAD NO IDEA HOW LONG IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS
This is so good I’m gonna go buy a copy of Minish Cap now.
Or play it on switch in the GBA mode
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Yo ngl just found this channel and this is probably the best orchestrated piece on vaaties theme

Broo EPICARDOOOOO XD very good man!!

Great interpretation.
This has a bit of a Pokémon vibe to it.

Been an uber fan of yours since Ymfah featured your Papyrus theme and Mega Man 4 opening, keep up the great work!
So canonically, this game is the 2nd in the series. Hinting to the backstory of the hat… so Vaati is canonically ganon before ganon?
Absolutely beautiful.
Finally it’s about time

Sure!
Beginning was great but the middle was amazing!!!
Reaaally nice! Top quality!

Mt Crenel!!!
Hey loved this arregenment, is it ok if I use it in a speedpaint of Vaati for my instagram and youtube, with credits?
I think Vaati is the second villain and Girahim is the first one
What key was this song composed in, does anyone know?
Sorry to ruin the 69 likes but damn this slaps. Minish cap had some great stuff
I'm not trying to hate but this song sounds off to me. I do like your Majora's Mask tracks though
