I bought a new Ac Delco battery almost 2 years ago. I only bought one because I heard they are really good. The one I now have is dead and I tried to charge it but it just won't hold a charge. I guess you could say there's 150 bucks down the drain. Can't afford another one so I guess I have to head to Wally's world or a cheap one. But on a brighter note, thank you for the video 👍
'Im glad the video helped. These lead acid batteries are beginning to get a bit pricey nowadays. Anyway you might be able to restore them nowadays with a desulfator charger. Hopefully its not too late. Perhaps I'll make a video on that in the future.
I just bought a new ACDelco and there was no sticker date on it from the shop that installed it. Which is strange. However, if I read the date code correctly, )34R means it was manufactured around March of 2024. Is that correct?
Good question. And its kind of a trick question. Let me explain. The quick answer is Yes. However if you go somewhere else (not the place that installed your battery) and you don't have the receipt for example, a company will look at the date of the battery. In other words, go with the later date that is in your best interest IF your battery fails early.
Nice video sir, we previously emailed you for doing a LED lighting review but never heard back from you,Is it got stuck in your Spam folder or something. Hopefully get a nudge for that
@@FixCarYourself Not sure if you got me, I was meaning to inquire about if you are able to do a LED lighting review for our product,We have been looking for opportunities to showcase our products
Probably from June 2015 maybe as old as June 2005. I would have to double check the year based off of older batteries GM has produced from past decades.
If it makes you feel better I replaced a battery from a Cadillac CTS that was around 12 years old. So they definitely last longer than they use to, and it was well protected being in the truck.
This is fantastic & Thank you for having no annoying back ground music, Cheers
Glad you liked it. I hate background music as well.

Yes. thats what the sticker says March 2024. But it was really made probably a few months prior.
@@FixCarYourself does my warranty begin when the battery is bought and installed?

I think an exact manufactured date would be nice to know
I agree, consumers should know when their battery was really made.
Thank you!
