5 Questions to Ask in a Software Developer Job Interview
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 21 ноя 2024
- In a job interview you’re always being asked questions, but what about towards the end of the interview when the interviewer asks if you have any questions for them? I have five questions, plus a bonus question, that you may be interested in asking during your next software developer job interview.
Forgoing the opportunity to ask questions means missing out on the opportunity to learn about the nature of the work the role entails, the culture of the organization, and much more.
Of course it’s better to ask questions that you’re genuinely interested in having answered, but maybe I’ll shed some light on questions you didn’t know you wanted answered.
1. Who are the members of the team I’ll be joining?
2. Where are your former software developers now?
3. What technologies is the company using?
4. Why do you like working here?
5. Why are you bringing on a software developer?
Bonus. Ask about the company.
I also have a few updates I address towards the end of this video. Enjoy!

Sir Could you please make a video explaining the resources you use to learn or enhance your programming skills
Congrats on 100k bro, can you make video for the requisites of being a android/ios developer
Just asked these questions in 2 different interviews today, one technical and one screening. Both interviewers were thrown off and impressed that I even asked these questions. Great job and thanks so much!
"What was the most difficult problem you've had to solve while working here?" is one that I have not asked personally but have enjoyed answering as an interviewer. To me it shows the candidate is interested in solving difficult problems and wants to make sure they are joining a team which will have difficult or interesting problems to solve.
Just in time I got the second part of my interview tomorrow wish me luck.
Good luck and keep us posted
Good luck man!
did you get the job
I usually ask how I can be successful at your team, company. I also ask what problem you’re trying to solve hiring me, what I should be ready for?
A lot BETTER!
A big one I ask in interviews where it's a senior/lead: What do you wish you'd known earlier when you first started here?
Hopefully I land this job as CEO of Google. Wish me luck
I’m also trying to get that job... bitch
@@jax2059 lol
Did you get the position? lol
did you passed?
Any updates on how the interview went?
Good advice. I think another good side effect of asking the interviewer questions is breaking out of the "they ask"/"you answer" format into a conversation which I think helps them see more personality and hopefully stand out.
im still a student in high school but these questions helped me know what to expect👌👍thanks🙏

I'm Brazilian,I admire your work a lot.
Very good.
Too late! I already had 4 interviews this week. I got a job offer I really like, so I'll keep these questions in mind for the next time I'll be looking for a job.
I have three panel interviews coming up this week. what questions did they ask you?
@@hlosanidube-mpofu7328 Most of my interviews didn't ask many technical questions during the interview. 1 was with a HR person so they didn't ask anything technical, 2 had a take home project and the other one asked some whiteboard HTML (accessibility), CSS (flexbox) and JavaScript (var/let/const, loop logic) questions. I did prepare for a lot of personal questions as well. Good luck!
Last week I had my first interview and they asked if I had any questions. I was disappointed because I wasn't ready for that besides asking them what type of technology they use and what they expect out of their interns. Tomorrow morning I have my second interview lined up and this time I will be more ready. Thanks man.
Thank you so much for posting this! Have an interview in an hour, helped out so much!
so... how did it go?
I really hope you aced that interview.
@@JMS_Hunter I actually received an offer yesterday! Definitely asked the questions from the video!
@@14ggo Replying just to remind you how great this day was five years ago😄😄

The technologies are listed on job offers wouldn't that makes them think you didn't read the job offer?
Quality, thank you. Wish me luck :)

Hi, I’m going for a interview for a massive International IT company, however I’m interviewing for the role of a Talent Recruiter. Any advise on what questions I should ask? I want to ask questions that seem like I know the IT industry well. I would appreciate some tips
Did you get the job?
100K BABY
Who else watched this video AFTER their interview?
Ahmad Sarwar 😂😂😂😂 Naa bro... we came here before
Ever all these are valuable they're no applicable for companies like G, FB, Amazon and etc. They're not hiring you for a specific team - they just hiring you for SWE position.
I don't really know what is the way to do this.
but, why not ask for an intel/amd sponsorship?
😮ur beard

DON'T follow these if you are unemployed. They come from a non vulnerable position
