I love how despite basically just using her same voice she can convincingly go from sweet naive person to totally unhinged psycho for any character she plays
She's really talented at that! It reminds me of something Billy West said that its good practice to have multiple personalities from something that's very distinctly your voice because it makes you harder to replace lol. He's always been good at that with Futurama and I think Schaal proves she is too with her various VA roles.
Is say the reverse. It's the same character all the time.

Kristen Schaal is such a fantastic actress both on-screen and as a VA! I'm most familiar with her work on Gravity Falls and was delighted to see her show up here even though I don't even like 30 Rock all that much

Heidi pulled off such a stupidly convincing impersonation of her in some casting sketch in SNL to the point IIRC half the comment section was wondering if it was actually Kristen doing a cameo.

A lot of people call Hazel a "shark jump" not realizing her character was intentionally the destruction of the show and the creator's way of closing the series.
To put it another way. HAZEL WAS ALL THE BAD TRAITS OF TGS WITHOUT THE POWER TO GET AWAY WITH IT. That's why, when the lawsuit was brought forth, Kenneth said that technically all of Hazel's claims we're true, they just didn't happen to her, they were stuff they had done to each other, so when the paperwork asked if he witnessed ANY of that happening hid conscious told him to come clean.

When I binge on 30 Rock, I skip the Hazel episodes
Too much enjoyment is dangerous.
I only skip the Greenzo episode. So cringe.
I skip the "Star Search" episodes in the beginning of Season 4. "Danny" wasn't really worth the payoff and just got brushed off like Josh anyway.
