Justin, it's great that you're at a point to get things to give away. I too had a level that ended up needing repair (I think I just wore it out using it so much) and couldn't bring myself to have it done. Therefore, I'm in the market for another and this video is very timely. Of course I'd love to be given this one as I've been using regular levels on all of the projects. - Chris
Love the show. Starting a handyman business so I would use it everyday. Appliance leveling is another great use for a laser level. Would really appreciate a new one. Thanks
I’m starting to build my shop out and this would be great to get my cabinets straight. Also just moved so we have to hang pictures. Thanks for the videos, they are always informative.
Also great for insuring that your joists and furring strips are level wit one another before hanging ceiling drywall. Especially in a basement with low 7’ ceilings where you are more likely to notice waves in the drywall. Enjoying your RUclips channel. Keep up the great work!
Looks like an awesome laser level that would come in very handy. I definitely could have used this when I was hanging five 36"x60" mirrors in my shop/gym a couple of weeks ago. If I win, I would use it to help hang cabinets and an eventual french cleat wall that I'd love to add to my shop. Love and appreciate your channel, this content is awesome. Good luck everyone!
I am in the middle of a kitchen remodel and could use for numerous tasks that you mentioned. Been looking at ones at the big box stores but have not pulled the trigger. Thanks for the opportunity to win one.
I've been itching to install french cleats in my workshop but I've been waiting until I can purchase a laser level. I would most definitely use it for that purpose first. Thank you for your great content!
Been really enjoying channel so far. Appreciate how different your perspective seems to be from typical channels. Thanks! Could def see using that for some french cleats in the near future...or avoiding the hours long arguments over which picture frames are NOT level when my wife finally gets me to re-do our wall decor with all the new baby pictures.....
Looks like a well designed and constructed unit! My immediate uses for it would be hanging all the pictures in my 86 yr old mother’s house (we just moved her recently), and to install some French cleats in my shop.
Great piece on laser levels. Thank you for your post. I’m a new wood worker and I’m in the process of building out my shop. A level like this would be indispensable.

I spent almost 20 years in the commercial construction industry as an electrician and have spent the last two years in residential construction with flooring and tile. I am extremely impressed by what I see in this video! This laser is on par with the top name brands used in the construction industry. I’m very happy to see something of this caliber in the DIYer/ small business budget option. DOVOH for the win!
@@carlosgavino6874 It is on the way. We will have a new laser with one horizontal 360 degree laser and one vertical 150 degree laser, it also equipped with a plumb point. This laser will target very attractive price.
Always enjoy your videos. Preparing to pour a pad and build a storage building, need more shop space. There are so many possibilities for the laser in construction of a storage facility. Thanks for the opportunity. Keep up the informative videos.
I always watch your videos and appreciate you very much. I, if I won, would use this laser for so many projects in my home and outside of it. Thank you for the opportunity.
Being I’m in the process of building out my shop I would start out using it for setting my cabinets , French cleats and other fixtures. After that I have many projects that it would be invaluable for. Btw thank you for all the information and the great channel. I found you 2 days after launching and have been a sub ever since. You have quality and entertaining/educational content. Appreciate all your hard work
Wow thanks Matthewmalloy! Really appreciate it and sounds like you’re having a whole bunch of fun right now with shop building! I constantly just find myself wanting to rip apart the shop and rebuild it nonstop 😂
Yeah I have found it always to be a problem to always be designing and redesigning for the shop. I am having fun but also in trying to maximize my limited space find I am over analyzing it to much and having writers block in the design aspect. Probabaly to much RUclips if there is such a thing lol
Will use it to install chair molding and crown molding in my home. Looks like a great product with many useful accessories. The green lazer is definitely the way to go. Must more readable than the red
Great demonstration. I am adding ready to start adding a station for my chop saw. Once that is completed then French cleats. I am also pricing out a small remodel for the upstairs of my home. Assuming that estimate meets my budget requirements then I would be using it to add a bedroom from current attic space and take a bedroom we currently have and convert it to a hallway and small office.
Thanks for the ideas Justin! We're moving into a new house next week, and I would use it initially to help hang some shelving, then the deck I'm planning on building, and finally in my new workshop once I get it going!
I bought the same basic model to use for my basement remodel (a WETOLS green 3-axis, for wall layout & dropped ceiling)... thinking I'd rarely use, but I've reached for it so many times over the last 3 years that it became a must-have IMHO. I'm literally using it this week for can/pancake lights and molding for my family room remodel. Saves so much time and worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and pickup a few extra laser targets (2-4 of them)... they are super handy for ceiling and flooring layouts.
Great video Jason looks like a great laser . I would use it to help me set up my new shop that I’m getting ready to make shop cabinets. Can’t wait to see the rest of the trailer build also.
I would use this laser for putting in cabinets, shiplap, recepticle locations and many other uses I will find as the honey do list grows. Keep up the great work and love how fast your chanel has grown in such a short period of time.
Great video again. Thank you. I would use the laser at building my workshop, but i already own one. And there great. So let somone else win with the best idea! Its a great tool to have.
I would use the laser several ways, most of which you listed. Leveling wall hangings, shelving, installing cabinets, landscaping to grade, and anything else I can think. I love your videos!!! Keep them coming.
Hi - I have an 120 yr old home and am sistering joists and trying to level a ceiling for some new drywall and then plaster. I need something tough, reliable and with multiple connection/attachment methods - this seems like a good product! FYI I subscribes because I like your presentation style!
If you're a chair maker (or chair dabbler like me) lasers are a godsend when aligning chair legs for correct, consistent, splay and rake when you're drilling. I also used one when installing windows and French cleats (which is how I found your channel in the first place) to turn that shed out back into a shop. That micro-adjust plate looks like a great add-on for any laser setup. Dang.
Thanks for another great video. I have a new workshop and a laser level would be a great addition to my toolbox. I’m in the process of installing a French cleat wall and building workbenches and take off tables.
I also appreciate this kind of sponsored video, where you tell the ins and outs of how the product actually works. I was surprised at the great price point too! I like guessing, and was way off. 😄
Oh awesome! Get ready for the tool holder French cleat addiction! (I just bought a new tool last night and one of my first thoughts is where am I going to put a new holder?) 😂
Really great video the way you went through so many things so quickly. I wish more Time could be spent on leveling out soil grade to see how the line can be helpful. I wish there was a good video showing just how to do this
well I will be installing a new 2 car garage in December and I will be showing how I level that area out prior with my laser level, not exactly the same thing but a tough thing for me to mock up for you without ripping up my property!
@ thanks I appreciate it. I bought this device to measure the grade along my garage because my neighbor built up the grade by 6 inches causing flooding to my garage and I'm trying to find other drainage opportunities around the perimeter which may not exist. This new tool I hope Will easily allow me to evaluate where level stand along the grade. Within 2 feet of my garage foundation he built up levels that now exceed my foundation so when it rains a lot water builds up along my garage and flows inside my garage as well as my driveway. It's awful having neighbors that don't care about what they do to you. It's natural drainage and you not supposed to be interfering with it Plus why would they built a garage foundation 2 feet away from a higher grade. 50 years no problem and then my neighbor does this
There are several projects I can use that for, but upcoming I am remodeling my house and my shop so that would be very useful for all that you demonstrated in the video, I will be doing electrical, plumbing flooring cabinets and so much more
Thanks Justin. Just found your channel a couple of weeks ago and working through your previous videos. I would use a laser level to hang art on my walls.
Wow how timely. I'm having my dream shop constructed and I can really use one of these to insure my shop cabinets , miters station and other planned shop projects are level.
So many possible uses! I have some very high cathedral ceilings, and want to hang artwork all over the tall walls, but also want them to not look all wonky and crooked or poorly spaced. This would be extremely helpful! I’m also setting up my new shop, and could use it for delving into Lé French cleat system. Another good possible use: Laser sharks
Nice Vid, have subsribed , easy to follow instructions and practical information on the product and its uses. I have been in Glazing and Building for over 40 years in Australia and your the best one I have seen since Al on tooltime . 😉
Seems like a well built unit. Hell, I'd by the jack plate by itself! lol As you were cycling through the different modes, I noticed it has a plumb bob setting which for an electrician, (me) would work great for laying out lighting.
Thanks for the great video. I would use a laser level for a number of projects, the most pressing is I am planning on doing a full built-in closet remodel in our master closet. Cheers!
Justin, this thing is awesome. I was actually looking at these yesterday and have it in my amazon cart. Was just trying to research it a little more since I had never heard of Dovoh before. I am getting ready to start construction on my new shop in a few weeks and this would be a huge help in laying out footers and joists, as well as a whole host of other uses. I think you have sold me on it, that is if i dont win the giveaway. Keep up the great content. Youre well on the way to 10k.
Thanks! yea I know its crazy! I hadn't heard of Dovoh either but since I have owned one prior from a major brand I can say this is on par to that one in quality of build. I actually filmed the part of me dropping it 3 times and it still doesn't have a scratch soooo it's well made lol! Especially at the price. Their 3D laser is 50% off right now till the 9th so only $75, that's just an amazing price. But if you're going outside you might want to look at their most powerful one. When I filmed outside it was a bright sunny day so I could see the laser on objects when I was close but not the full line, (but this was the indoor one) Good Luck on the shop!
I have been looking for a new laser since my old one died a miserable death (a certain young lady neglected to remove the batteries the last time she "borrowed" mine). The timing is impeccable. Even if some other lucky sot wins, I still plan to buy one. Since you recommended the DOVOH, I'd seriously consider choosing from their product line. My next project is to run EMT and additional outlets in my workshop. This would be invaluable to make sure the tubing is installed level. Great video!
Thanks for producing great content. Good luck on growing your channel. This handy tool would replace the small torpedo level for medium size jobs around the house (hanging stuff on walls) and leveling cabinets in the garage/workshop build out.
Great tips! I would probably use it - at least initially - for installing French cleats in our garage (my workshop). I have plans for doing that, & have NOT been looking forward to using my regular 4- or 6-foot i-beam level! Another cool use, at least for laser levels in general, is doing hand lettering. You can tape your paper/card/envelope/whatever onto a mat with a grid printed on it - lining the top or bottom edge of what you're writing on up with one of the grid lines on the mat - and then position your laser level so the beam shines across the paper. Of course, you have to line the beam up with a line parallel to the one the edge of your paper is lined up with, but it gives you a visible guideline to help ensure you keep your writing from going wonky. Not sure how or if that would transfer to woodworking (maybe painted signage...?), but I still think it's pretty cool. I make handmade greeting cards, & learned this from another card maker on RUclips (where else? LOL). Anyway, thank you for sharing your tips & tricks, & for doing the giveaway. Have a wonderful day!
I have enjoyed (and subscribed to ) your channel ever since that awesome tour of your two-car-garage shop, which I still pop in and out of as I attempt to re-organize my own 2CG shop. Besides the great uses you showed, I've used my (very old) laser level to make sure projects with viscose liquids like epoxy resin and flow paintings are level (or at the angle I want.)
I would use it in variety of ways around the house, but my main use would be installing signs for clients. I typically also install display posts so this laser would assist in assuring that the post are plumb. Awesome content, keep up the good work! 🤞
Another great video and I always look forward to the next one. I need this level to help me with siding my house next month. I hope it's bright enough to see easily in the daytime as I plan on using it to set my starter strips and to help ensure that my courses stay level as I go. If I don't win, maybe you could come and help me! 😀
In my case this would be great for boat building as the the surfaces in a boat are not often perpendicular to one another for reference. Great vid Thanks.
Hey Justin, keep up the great videos you do a great job on camera and I think it’s bound to take off. I just bought my first house and can think of a ton of uses… extending our deck, shelving, French cleats… it’s a very long list.
Another great video! I would use a laser like that for leveling the table on my pillar drill and band saw table and to make sure my mitre saw blade is at 90 deg to the table. I'm sure I could find any number of other uses for it around my home and workshop. Jane ❤
If it is sunny it is very hard to see outdoors. You would need to use the green sight plate and preferably in the morning /evening / overcast. If it was going to be used outdoors a lot I would say buy the outdoor model with the more powerful laser
I’ve still not installed those French Cleats on my wall yet. Using a DOVOH laser would be ideal for getting that first bottom row level. I’d likely also use it like you showed, to get fence posts level and plumb, when it comes time to replace them. My wife is always hanging multiple items on the walls and wanting them level, but we end up off-setting them . 😂 My wife has also asked me to make some sort of cabinet/shelf feature in our TV nook. Having a multi-line laser would definitely be of use during that project!
It's just what I need for those pesky crown moldings. Plus it would sure be handy for hanging all my wife's mirrors, pictures and various wall hangings.
Thank you for this video. I would use this to continue to frame out my basement shop. I didn’t use a plumb line in a short wall underneath my basement stairs and every time I go up my steps, I embarrassed and see how such a tool is a necessity.
I’m right there with you, my main backdrop in my videos is on a slope going with the slopes floor, it annoys the hell out of me (so it will be ripped up in a video at some point) so yea these levels are a big help!
I am currently remodeling a 1910 craftsman house and would find many uses. The rebuild on the kitchen comes immediately to mind. Would love to get one! Please sign me up.
I'm moving into a new house in 3 weeks and there will be so many uses. We'll be hanging tons of pictures, mounting TVs, followed by lots of wall trimmings.
Really liked the video... It's almost like your reading my mind! 😮 I'm in the process of remodeling my 20x34 shop... I purchased a good Lazer level based on the brand... wrong decision! The batteries don't last, maybe 4-5 hrs of use before they need to be changed out. So I bought the rechargeable ones and the last about 2½ hrs and have to be changed! When I was installing the 6" dust collection system and the 10 @8' LED lights (suspended) at 8'h, it was a real pain being in the middle of the project to take it down, change the batteries and then reset the Lazer to get back to work... allot of loss time messing with the Lazer! Better word would be frustrating! I was down to the last 3 lights when it went down again! I was taking it down (to replace the batteries, I lost my footing on the last rung and it slipped out of my hand...needless to say, no more Lazer. Yep, you guessed it - not covered by warranty 😢 so almost a total loss! Ended up using a line level to get the job finished. Haven't had the money in my budget to get another one. Being 69, I think I might have overstepped doing a project this big, but still enjoy a good challenge 😊... just wish I was younger... don't we all. Haven't heard of this brand... but really impressed with this blog and the capabilities ... my broken Lazer didn't have the same capabilities and it cost me almost three times as much (on sale)! I've gone back and watched every one of your blogs... Your honest approach and presentations are really great 👍 Keep up the great work... I know your channel will grow! 🎉 Hope ya have a blessed day 😌
Wow that sounds frustrating! Yeah, I do like how this laser can be directly plugged in, especially if you’re going to be doing a long-term project where you need to leave, it mounted in the same position for days. Yeah I hadn’t heard of the brand either, but I really looked into them before I said yes on the video, I like specialty companies where this is the only thing they do and they’re trying to do it very well and break into the market at a good price point. When you go onto Home Depot and you see a Bosch for $500 you know that 99% of people who aren’t professional contractors aren’t going to buy it so being able to get those capabilities at a good price is a win
Btw, I forgot to mention something. When the alarm went off on your laser level, it bothered my cat who was lying on my lap next to my computer. I tried to reassure him it was just the video, but he wasn't buying that. He has resettled himself, though, so no harm. :) Keep up the great work on your channel - I really like your low-key, no-nonsense approach to things.
My next big projects include installation of 46” x 96” barn door I have constructed followed by installation of 10 ft x 15 ft wall of entertainment center cabinets I have designed and are to be made - both for my daughter’s home in Dripping Springs, TX
Hello there. Love your videos. I could really use this level. My daughter and her husband just bought their first home. I have a list a mile long of projects they need help with and this laser level would really make things easier. I live 2 minutes from the border, so I have a U.S. shipping address available. Thks again for your videos.
The one that I showed in the video is their top-of-the-line indoor one, they have one more unit that’s higher tier that’s meant for outdoors so it’s brighter. For my personal use case when I did my fence outside, it’s not like when you’re inside and you see the line everywhere, it’s more that you’ll see it touch the item that you’re doing if you’re up close to it, of course doing it in the afternoon or on a overcast day, makes the lines more visible
We just bought a house, so I could use the laser around the house for all the upcoming projects! And there will be a ton of projects :D I don't know if you mention that in another video but here my question: Are you a contractor?
I’m an entrepreneur & I have had contracting based businesses mixed in there. I currently own a commercial Christmas lighting business for the past 13 years, we do homes and businesses, but we also do giant light shows where we’re constructing entire public venues from scratch, that crew does landscape lighting and commercial exterrior lighting in the off season. I have constructed two of my own houses from foundation to finishing work . Woodworking has been a side business for me for 5 years in my off season from lighting. Primarily doing custom poker tables , indoor/outdoor rock walls and ninja warrior courses. I have also owned businesses in student loans, restaurants, advertising and marketing, medical products, liquidations, and many more 😂 I have been thinking about doing a RUclips channel for a while, and even pre-filmed a whole bunch of videos, but it wasn’t until I had a sponsor offer to supply all my tools and everything if I would make the videos then I said sure why not I’ll give it a try! Noting to loose and only free tools to gain. And 3 mo later here we are.
@@BitnerBuilt that's quite an interesting background story! It's always so interesting for me what businesses are out there. I never thought that Christmas lighting business is a thing, but it makes sense since everyone in the US loves Christmas (I am originally from Europe). With the house I have so many interesting projects coming up that I thought of doing an instagram account or something to show people in Germany how thing been done in the US.
@@WoodyWoodworker yea I am a very niche business but I only have to work hard 4 mo a year and I do VERY well with that… on your instagram builds, do it! The honest thing about these platforms is it’s a business that has little to no risk. Only your personal time. So document some stuff throw it out there and see what happens. If it takes off great if it doesn’t oh well, you didn’t put a lot into it and didn’t loose money. I thought it was going to take me a year until I reach the monetization threshold with RUclips and I reached it in three days after putting out five videos. (Which I want to say is crazy fast but who knows 🤷) so you never know!
Hi! Do you have a tutorial on 11 : installing recessed lights using laser level please? I have round lights I need to change to square ones and I am afraid of misaligning them. Thank you!
I don’t have one at the moment sorry, but using a laser with atleast a 2 cross (right and left) should make it easy for you to do one line of lights and then using each light as a reference make your grid.
I've been looking at laser levels fro a couple of months now, trying to decide what to buy, and then you make this video :D. Our house was built in ~1948, and I don't know if anything was square in it ever. Getting ready to do a patio, privacy fence and a ceiling in the basement. I'm finding string to be a challenge. I have some trauma issues with water, so using a water level isn't going to happen. The biggest thing w/ these laser levels I've been looking at is the distance. Use case is inside vs outside. I can find one that's usable inside.... but not outside. So if the K3 won't work outside... please pick someone else and tell me to buy the K4 :D
To use this one outside, you would want to use the reflection plate, I would probably go with the powerful one however, as the one I was showing is a little difficult to see outside without the plate
I have a laser level (not as nice as this one) that I've used for a number of projects. The simplest was probably hanging pictures at the same level. I also used it to build shelves in my garage to make sure they were nice and level. I even used it when helping my friends finish their basement. I specifically remember using it for the tiled herringbone pattern we built in the shower which we are extremely proud of. They have so many uses that I didn't anticipate when I got it.
One thing I’ve used my laser level for is when making shop cabinets. My, as most, garage floor slopes towards the garage door. I’ve used my level to simulate the surface of my bench and then measure the height of that surface to the floor to make legs that accommodate for the slope. Not the best description but hopefully understandable.
how do you do No. 16 Drainage & Slope? Does my laser level *need* a pendulum lock to prevent damage to the pendulum? will the laser work when the pendulum is locked?
So it’s a bit involved to explain in a comment, for drainage and slope you’re gonna need a grading rod to pair with your laser. Do a RUclips search there’s a lot of instructional videos on how to do it. If you have an auto leveling laser, then it should have a pendulum lock, you need a pendulum lock to prevent damage. Yeah when the laser is locked, it still fires the laser out every direction. It just doesn’t auto level, there’s many instances where you will leave it in the locked position because you’re trying to project the line somewhere in the level of it doesn’t actually apply.
@@BitnerBuilt yeah projecting a straight, but angled, visible line outdoors is my main objective - actually doing grading/slope work isn't critical for me. Can you recommend a level that can lock and also provide sufficient brightness for outdoor use?
@@g-lurk OK so if you don’t need the auto leveling function you’re able to buy a much more affordable standard laser level that’s rated for outdoors. Obviously 3d, 4d, rotary levels have much more functionality in the long run so you might want to consider what your use cases are if you want to spend more money on those. I have to say that I’m very happy and impressed with the laser that I showed in the video, and it is my onlypersonal owned laser. Now I sold the other one that I had. So I’d be reasonably confident in any of their other outdoor models. I did on a model similar to the Bosch GLM400C when I was building my house, and it worked well outdoors. I had a black and decker and DeWalt one that I wouldn’t recommend. Outside of that I don’t have any personal experience with a specific one to be able to tell you which one to buy.
Sole proprietor of a custom woodworking business here. This would be used in a great deal of products I craft on a daily basis. I would love to have this unit, as the unit I have currently is nowhere close to the quality of the unit in your video.
I just bought a 4 beam laser but what's the point of the 2 horizontal beams as you cant adjust the distance between them. They are set at the distance between them on the unit? Am I missing something here?
It’s just to be able to get closer to your surface. For example if the horizontal laser was only on the bottom, and then you needed to do something like crown molding up at the ceiling, the height of the laser might actually impede you from being able to put the laser where it supposed to go putting a laser on the top allows you to get really close to the ceiling and the at the bottom allows you to get really close to the bottom of the unit if you’re working on the floor for example
@@russelljohansen9338 cool thanks! Since I own a commercial Christmas lighting company, we’re gonna get busy pretty soon, once my off-season starts in February, I’ll be putting some more effort into things like that, swag stuff, etc..
My wife and I bought a 100 year old sears and roebuck house. This house has been completely gutted and needs a lot of framing work done. I could definitely put this level to good use.

I've been searching for hours on how to learn how to use a laser level...Thank you!!! 2 days and a lot of hours and you're the one one who can explain
Glad I could help!
- Chris
Yes one day maybe I’ll be giving away sawstops like Oprah 😂 thanks Chris!
Love the show. Starting a handyman business so I would use it everyday. Appliance leveling is another great use for a laser level.
Would really appreciate a new one. Thanks
Ah appliance, leveling is a great use!

Enjoying your RUclips channel. Keep up the great work!
Excellent suggestion!
Thanks so much! Fingers crossed for ya!

Looks like a well designed and constructed unit! My immediate uses for it would be hanging all the pictures in my 86 yr old mother’s house (we just moved her recently), and to install some French cleats in my shop.
Great use! Yea I was very pleased with the build quality

Always enjoy your videos. Preparing to pour a pad and build a storage building, need more shop space. There are so many possibilities for the laser in construction of a storage facility. Thanks for the opportunity. Keep up the informative videos.
ooo I need one of those storage buildings too! Lucky Lucky!
I always watch your videos and appreciate you very much. I, if I won, would use this laser for so many projects in my home and outside of it. Thank you for the opportunity.
Thanks! Sorry but that drawing was many months ago!
Great video! I’ve never actually thought about all the ways a laser can be helpful. I’ll definitely consider getting one!
Thanks Thomas!
Soooo much better than the red! Great use case!
That’s quite the to do list!
Thanks for the ideas Justin! We're moving into a new house next week, and I would use it initially to help hang some shelving, then the deck I'm planning on building, and finally in my new workshop once I get it going!
Thanks! And great uses for the laser!
Yes more useful than people realize
Great video Jason looks like a great laser . I would use it to help me set up my new shop that I’m getting ready to make shop cabinets. Can’t wait to see the rest of the trailer build also.
Thanks Jim
I would use this laser for putting in cabinets, shiplap, recepticle locations and many other uses I will find as the honey do list grows. Keep up the great work and love how fast your chanel has grown in such a short period of time.
Thanks so much! Great uses!
I ordered mine today, a lot of projects coming up, I can’t wait to try it out. Thanks
Have fun on those projects!
Great video again. Thank you. I would use the laser at building my workshop, but i already own one. And there great. So let somone else win with the best idea! Its a great tool to have.
Thanks Rpaasse!
I would use the laser several ways, most of which you listed. Leveling wall hangings, shelving, installing cabinets, landscaping to grade, and anything else I can think. I love your videos!!! Keep them coming.
Thanks Duck! Great uses!
Great to learn about alternatives to the big brands. This would be great when working on a pad for my above ground pool to check the grade!
Great use case!
Would come in handy for my furniture installs and raise panel ceiling installs, love the content thanks Total Built by Steve
Good uses Steve!
Hi - I have an 120 yr old home and am sistering joists and trying to level a ceiling for some new drywall and then plaster. I need something tough, reliable and with multiple connection/attachment methods - this seems like a good product! FYI I subscribes because I like your presentation style!
Thanks Bonduie! Seems like you have a big project, fingers crossed for ya!
Dang.
Very cool use! Yeah, that micro adjust plate is going to get used for so many different things!
Thanks for another great video. I have a new workshop and a laser level would be a great addition to my toolbox. I’m in the process of installing a French cleat wall and building workbenches and take off tables.
Thanks! Great uses for a laser!
I also appreciate this kind of sponsored video, where you tell the ins and outs of how the product actually works. I was surprised at the great price point too! I like guessing, and was way off. 😄
Thanks Kenny, yeah, I don’t like to just show a product, more how can I actually use it.
Help me build my French cleat wall that I am planning to start work on soon after watching your excellent video on French cleat basics
50 years no problem and then my neighbor does this
It would be great from leveling cnc setups and builds as well. Great uses for the hobbyist.
Cool use case!
Great tool looks well built and designed. I'd use it for my floors pot lights cabinets as I reno house
Great idea!
There are several projects I can use that for, but upcoming I am remodeling my house and my shop so that would be very useful for all that you demonstrated in the video, I will be doing electrical, plumbing flooring cabinets and so much more
Oh wow lots of use cases in your future for a Laser
@BitnerBuilt there are allot of the uses you showed that I will need one for including French cleats
Thanks Justin. Just found your channel a couple of weeks ago and working through your previous videos. I would use a laser level to hang art on my walls.
Great use! Thanks for watching!
You have come far pilgrim! Keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
Wow how timely. I'm having my dream shop constructed and I can really use one of these to insure my shop cabinets , miters station and other planned shop projects are level.
Oooo dream shop eh, I think pictures are warranted!
@@BitnerBuilt I will definitely share them with you when it's built. I just hope it stops raining long enough to get the foundation done.
This does look like a great tool. I need to make changes in my shop. I plan to add more french cleats.
Ooo let the French cleat obsession begin!
So many possible uses! I have some very high cathedral ceilings, and want to hang artwork all over the tall walls, but also want them to not look all wonky and crooked or poorly spaced. This would be extremely helpful! I’m also setting up my new shop, and could use it for delving into Lé French cleat system.
Another good possible use:
Laser sharks
Laser sharks are always the answer 😂
Enjoy your vids. I would use a laser level for several things but cabinet install, including a miter station, would be great!
Thanks Eric! Good uses!
Great video! I would use for hanging pictures and doing tile layout.
Thanks! Great uses
Nice Vid, have subsribed , easy to follow instructions and practical information on the product and its uses. I have been in Glazing and Building for over 40 years in Australia and your the best one I have seen since Al on tooltime . 😉
Wow thanks very much! Super kind of you!
Seems like a well built unit. Hell, I'd by the jack plate by itself! lol As you were cycling through the different modes, I noticed it has a plumb bob setting which for an electrician, (me) would work great for laying out lighting.
Great use!
Thanks for the great video. I would use a laser level for a number of projects, the most pressing is I am planning on doing a full built-in closet remodel in our master closet. Cheers!
Great use case!
Thanks and fingers crossed for ya! Yea I’m legitimately impressed for the price point and the warranty
Need to replace lap siding on my house. A laser level would be great for that.
Love your videos, please keep up the quality work.
Thanks! and great use case!
Thanks for producing great content. Good luck on growing your channel. This handy tool would replace the small torpedo level for medium size jobs around the house (hanging stuff on walls) and leveling cabinets in the garage/workshop build out.
Thanks!
I would love to use this Lazer for my home remodel. Thanks
Lots of uses there!
Great use case! Yes, I’m sure that could definitely transfer over to some marking prior to cutting!
Very cool use case Artheld!
I would use it in variety of ways around the house, but my main use would be installing signs for clients. I typically also install display posts so this laser would assist in assuring that the post are plumb.
Awesome content, keep up the good work!
🤞
That's a great idea!
Another great video and I always look forward to the next one. I need this level to help me with siding my house next month. I hope it's bright enough to see easily in the daytime as I plan on using it to set my starter strips and to help ensure that my courses stay level as I go. If I don't win, maybe you could come and help me! 😀
Haha, are you near New Jersey?
I would look forward to utilizing it to install kitchen cabinets and level kitchen appliances, art work and closet rods.
All great uses!
In my case this would be great for boat building as the the surfaces in a boat are not often perpendicular to one another for reference. Great vid Thanks.
Oh very cool use case
Hey Justin, keep up the great videos you do a great job on camera and I think it’s bound to take off. I just bought my first house and can think of a ton of uses… extending our deck, shelving, French cleats… it’s a very long list.
Thanks so much! And congrats on the first house! Great laser use cases!
Just starting to learn all the different uses of a laser level in our new house.
Tons of uses there!
really cool tool. i need to finish my basement. great video
Thanks 👍
Another great video! I would use a laser like that for leveling the table on my pillar drill and band saw table and to make sure my mitre saw blade is at 90 deg to the table. I'm sure I could find any number of other uses for it around my home and workshop. Jane ❤
Oooh cool answer Jane!
Great video, question please: is the indoor 4 adequate for most outdoor jobs when there is no precipitation?
If it is sunny it is very hard to see outdoors. You would need to use the green sight plate and preferably in the morning /evening / overcast. If it was going to be used outdoors a lot I would say buy the outdoor model with the more powerful laser
@@BitnerBuilt Thanks!
Love to have one at work. Installing multiscreen tv’s, this Dovoh unit would make it seemless.
Great use case!
My wife has also asked me to make some sort of cabinet/shelf feature in our TV nook. Having a multi-line laser would definitely be of use during that project!
all great uses Damonbarber!
It's just what I need for those pesky crown moldings. Plus it would sure be handy for hanging all my wife's mirrors, pictures and various wall hangings.
All Great use cases!
Love the laser level. I need one to run a sidewalk I'm putting in from the house to the shop.
Great use!
Great video. Sold me. I was thinking of I should buy a laser level looking at $30 ones lol seen this and ordered it instead.
Oh cool, yea having one that self levels is a whole other level of usability compared to the cheap static ones!
I am currently remodeling a 1910 craftsman house and would find many uses. The rebuild on the kitchen comes immediately to mind. Would love to get one! Please sign me up.
great uses! your in the running!
Seems well built.
👍
I'm moving into a new house in 3 weeks and there will be so many uses. We'll be hanging tons of pictures, mounting TVs, followed by lots of wall trimmings.
Great Uses! Good luck on the new house!
Your honest approach and presentations are really great 👍
Keep up the great work... I know your channel will grow! 🎉
Hope ya have a blessed day 😌
Wow that sounds frustrating!
@@BitnerBuilt that is oh so true! I love this community and there are so many possibilities 🤗
Super helpful video thanks!!
Glad it was helpful!
Oh wow! Sorry mr cat!
👏show de bola! greetings from Brazil!
obrigado meu amigo! 🇧🇷✌️
My next big projects include installation of 46” x 96” barn door I have constructed followed by installation of 10 ft x 15 ft wall of entertainment center cabinets I have designed and are to be made - both for my daughter’s home in Dripping Springs, TX
Lucky daughters!
Hello there. Love your videos. I could really use this level. My daughter and her husband just bought their first home. I have a list a mile long of projects they need help with and this laser level would really make things easier. I live 2 minutes from the border, so I have a U.S. shipping address available. Thks again for your videos.
Thanks! Fingers crossed for you to win! I have a program random pick to make it fair
I'm interested but wondering if it would work for aligning my garden beds. That's my main concern. Worth a try?
The one that I showed in the video is their top-of-the-line indoor one, they have one more unit that’s higher tier that’s meant for outdoors so it’s brighter. For my personal use case when I did my fence outside, it’s not like when you’re inside and you see the line everywhere, it’s more that you’ll see it touch the item that you’re doing if you’re up close to it, of course doing it in the afternoon or on a overcast day, makes the lines more visible
@@BitnerBuilt that's really helpful, thank you
For installing dust collection duct work around the shop, both vertically and horizontally!
great use!
Could use it for floor deep foundations and wall tiles
Great use!
We just bought a house, so I could use the laser around the house for all the upcoming projects! And there will be a ton of projects :D
I don't know if you mention that in another video but here my question: Are you a contractor?
Great tool
👍
Awesome that’s great stuff pcman! They really are useful!
I need to get me one of them. I'd use it to make sure all these cleats are level.
It’s a great use for it!
I would use it to 1.nail half wall trim molding. 2. Hang track lighting on a celieng in a hall room to make sure they are leveled.
Great uses!
Explained well! its a great use case for the laser!
how do you do No.
@@BitnerBuilt THANK you! I'll look into the other outdoor lasers without auto level.
Sole proprietor of a custom woodworking business here. This would be used in a great deal of products I craft on a daily basis. I would love to have this unit, as the unit I have currently is nowhere close to the quality of the unit in your video.
👍 fingers crossed for ya!
I would use it for a ton of different jobs around the house but I'd start with the paver walkway I'm going to put in around my flower bed.
Great use!
I have a Mobile Home and I think my front part is un leveled. Can I use that in the inside like my front area to see if it’s level?
You definitely can with a model that self levels
Micro-adjustment jack - where can i find one?
Oh! It's in the Dovoh case... 😀
Yes it comes with it 😁 cool little accessory
I was about to order the one featured in your video but the discount code is not working. The code for the outdoor one does work by the way.
Ok let me email them and ill get back to you, prob won’t be till tomorrow due to holiday
Try PFKLLH7N
Thanks, I just ordered it. Love your channel. Do you have plans for sale for your tables, cabinets etc? Would love to support you.
Oh boy! That sounds like the project lists are long!
lay out the post for a 32' octagon gazebo equally spaced using the center point of the gazebo.
