literally have been using this for KOF 15, Guilty Gear Strive, and Street Fighter V on pc. its damn impressive for how cheap it was. highly recommend it for anyone who sucks at using a traditional arcade stick.

It's just a bit hassle for console players, you'll need to attach it to the controller to able to use the mixbox and its not modible, but for its price you can't complain with that

    • @jihadwest1430

I agree with you. A mixbox costs around $200 or $300 just to play without the original controller

There are enough parts available to make your own.
I bought quite a few of that Sanwa type of switch, though I prefer the screw fixing type.
And you can create your own using Cherry mx keys, might be worth a try on that one just to see.

We could also just take a keyboard and take all the keycaps off from the buttons we don't want to use. 🙂

I'd imagine it'd be pretty good for pulling off Mortal Kombat moves, the whole back, forward, down, high punch Etc.

I just got one today, and yeah. It is pretty nice for most fighting game inputs.
I am struggling most with doing double full circles, like Zangief uses for critical moves, but single full circles are surprisingly QUITE easy to pull off.
I am really stunned how much easer it makes inputs. I only got it for the novelty, so I wasn't expecting much.

Hi, Thank you for the highly informative video.
Did you ever try using a Mayflash Magic Stick with the PXN-X8 so that you can use it on a PS4 without plugging in a controller to the PXN-X8?
I’m considering buying the Magic stick so I can use the X8 for tournaments.

When you're using POV / DPAD mode, then LEFT and RIGHT = DOWN LEFT, and UP and DOWN = NOTHING. In LS mode, LEFT and RIGHT = LEFT, whereas UP and DOWN = UP. ... You could always switch out the internals for a pico pi or brook board usb zero delay encoder to get your desired effect.
