Your twist look so juicy, I do see that you have more frizz then you usually do. I did like the conditioner I only left it on for 10 mins. in the shower. I am on day three flat twist take down and I think I will need to give my hair some moisture within 2 days. It is soft, fluffy and do have some frizz too as you know Rae I like to rock my hair with some frizz. I did end up adding a little oil every day for more shine. Yes, I think a leave-in is needed with this combo, I have tried the pomegranate leave-in with the balm and it gave me lots of moisture. Can't wait to see how the oats and honey leave-in will works. Thank you for collaborating with me.
I'm on day 3 as well, but I am going to moisturize tonight. I, too, like some frizz and this didn't look bad, but I knew with the frizz, it would tangle more easily and need the moisture. I am going to use the products again and try the leave-in to see if there is a difference. Enjoyed collaborating with you.💛

I think your hair looked very pretty straight out of the twists before you separated it, but it still looked nice afterwards! But I do understand that it was more frizzy than you normally get.
Thank you. Yeah, my hair definitely had more definition and less frizz straight out of the twists. However, since I like bigger hair, I needed to see how it held up to my separating. I did like the hair, but I knew it wouldn't last without some moisture added to it.

I actually really like the shampoo & I also enjoy the conditioner.. but the shampoo is my fav from the company period!
I want to try the balm but was kind of nervous bc I mainly do wash and gos & I need moisturizing products!

Thank you. I think using the NLS gel will work for a twist out, as well. I just think that I needed an actual leave in to give me the added moisture to eliminate the frizz. Thanks for tuning in.

What I do to limit frizz is put oil on my fingertips to do the take down. I normally have no frizz when I put oil on my fingertips for the take down.
I know a lot of people who says that helps them, but I've used oil on my fingers in the past and I didn't see the benefit of it. However, I am a big proponent of "if it works for you, then keep doing it." Thanks for sharing your tip and for watching.

Hello Natural Rae Rae. Your twist out turned out beautiful! Do you always use a blow dry heat protectant before you use your heating cap while you're deep conditioning?
Hi Nikki! I never use a heat protectant when I am deep conditioning.

@@nikki4233 if you are using heat (i.e. blow dryer, curling iron, etc.) after deep conditioning, then yes, I suggest a heat protectant. I thought you were asking if I use a heat protectant while deep conditioning with my heat cap.

Thanks, but I am going to try the leave-in. I have it so it makes sense to try it. I don't think this was a bad combo, it just had more frizz than usual because I didn't use a proper leave-in. However, I am on day 3 and it still looks good, so I am going to moisturize and retwist it tonight so I can stretch it another couple of days. Thanks for tuning in.
