I think one of his first rifle's was made by a man whose last name was Bryan in Pennsylvania. It was one of the Bryans who taught him to shoot and would later travel south with them and marry one of their daughters, Rebecca Bryan. How do I know? Rebecca Bryan Boone is my 5th great aunt.
Okay, okay. I will allow you to build me one! A guy cannot have too many flintlocks. Really nice work. If I tried that I might as well just duct tape the barrel and lock to a 2x4.
Thank you for the nice video. I finisched my first rifle last year, then I made a flintlock pistol. At the moment a wheellock pistol is on the bench. Hopefully you make vedeos now more frequently. Kind regards from germany

Both of you should be ashamed of yourselves! It was OBVIOUSLY to show his connection with the past. Virtually ALL of the original builders also had feet!🤩
You can’t buy the one made in the video but you can order a Longrifle from Mike, though be warned he has a long waiting list. His website is MillerLongrifles.com

Thank you! We believe this DVD is the more detailed, most in-depth DVD ever produced on building a longrifle. I think that you would enjoy it.
Saw this guy in Townsends.

Didnt see them build barrel and lock.
So not entirely from scratch IMO
@@ToreDL87 the original builders often farmed different parts of their rifles out to other people who specialized.

It is .66 caliber
How long does it take to make such a weapon?
Why did they show his feet?
GameF0x . Some like that kind of thing. A fetish if you will

@@Muzzleloadermagazine Thank you! :)
For all this knowledge and his forgrip and hand placement is terrible.
Hand placement is an issue of personal preference. Mike shoots very, very well.
They're doing a TV special on you and you can't even put some shoes on
Welcome to kentucky boy!!!
