Considerate of them, so loving and thoughtful you are ❤ You are a joy and it makes me so happy knowing someone like you exists as you give your all to them. They are lovely and you make their hearts glad to be your babies. It really shows. God bless you Jill and thankyou for being you, for being there for them and for sharing so much aswell which helps others too. My life is so similar in many ways though we only have two greyhounds. Maggie is an anxious bean while Arthur is very confident but has high prey drive. We do get to take them on days out but only to quiet places because of Maggie. We take them on our holidays - normally a remote holiday cottage - they both enjoy this. I love caring for them both - it's so rewarding - wouldn't have my life any other way. Well done Jill ❤

    You are amazing Jill! As someone who also can't go on any holidays as a result of looking after greyhounds, I sometimes feel sad to miss out. But you really put things into perspective to help us remember the joy of caring for greyhounds.

    • @jwcaninecare
      @jwcaninecare  Год назад

      sometimes that does make me sad, but holidays are just part of the year, a few days (i've never managed more than a week at once anyway!) and their life is every day all year so it puts it into perspective for me

    Since taking on my nine year old hound three months ago life as certainly changed, and at sixty it's given us both a new lease of life ( my last dog was over twenty years ago!) For well being and general good mood everyone should go through this experience 😂..🙏..as always thankyou for your videos.

    I have a tricky grey, William. He is a spook and really has difficulty going anywhere or being without at least one of us. My husband had surgery today and I left my two for over three hours. Unheard of. Yes, it is all about them and I would not have it any other way. I don’t see how not to fall completely in love with them, do you?

    • @jwcaninecare

    What do you use to clean the ears out with please? You are so lucky they will let you cut their nails, as you know, my Madge will not let anyone near hers! Just my luck it seems. How do you clean out the bowls too, as I find it really hard to get rid of the slime that seems to get on the bowl, and not come off?! Thanks for all your advise, and your home looks immaculate. xxx

    • @jwcaninecare
      @jwcaninecare  Год назад +1

      I'm not sure about immaculate, just good camerawork 😂 I clean ears with a wet wipe, either an 'extra sensitive' one or special ones for ears from a pet shop. For bowls i just use a washing up brush and water after meals, or washing up liquid and hot water for a more thorough clean. scrubbing seems to shift the slime from the stainless steel bowls

    We all know that: I have been living with (rescue) dogs 23 years now - 2 or 3 dogs together at least - and that's much work, but the reward is HUGE! Probably more to me than to them....😂😂😂
