You know what it is about romancing Halsin that is so refreshing? He puts *consent* above everything else - he doesn't force, or whine. He let's you (the player) choose what (and who) you want to do. It's the sexiest trait imaginable.
I love how heartfelt the dialogue is between Halsin and Tav. It feels so devoted and bigger than their situation. He speaks to Tav with such respect and care. :')

But he doesn't, chooses not to, because he is content with what he has during the events of the game. What I am trying to say: I absolutely feel the same. There is something really warm and calming about him which is beautiful to experience. No other character is that secure in themselves and shows it openly. Which is why I made a new Tav only for him, so I get to see all of his beautiful calmness once again.
I don’t even have this game yet(I don’t have the means to play it unfortunately, at least not right now 😭) but Halsin’s romance was really sweet imo. He and Astarion are my top favorites so far. And btw: I swear I never laughed so damn hard when I saw the poor traumatized squirrel lmao 😂🤣

A very close friend of mine is obsessed with Halsin. At first, I was more into Astarion (mostly bc I want to be as confident as him), but over time, I started to understand why my friend loves Halsin. He's everything I could wish for in a man. Big, strong, kind, smart, funny, charismatic, and honest. I wish he was real. I hope I meet someone like Halsin one day.

yeah! as far as i know, when he transforms to his bear form and then back there's a dialogue option to ask him to contain himself (idk how to put it less harshly😭😭). he won't become a bear after that.

Nah, he’s too weird for me. The whole beastiality bit was too much; sleeping with a football field of people and being poly was already too much. He’s hot and tempting, but not much else to his character besides negatives traits that don’t align with my own. There is ONE thing that made me reconsider him and it’s the ending where he’s a father. His love for children and nature are the only things we have in common. I chose Gale as my mate because everything aligns with him, except he wants to be a god or dedicate himself to his research after; I even remember him saying he’s not father material which made me so sad
If you want to trigger this scene, you need to let Rath know about the plot before releasing Halsin. The first clue is located in the servants' quarters (Emerald Grove)🍀

I'm not sure, but the main romance scene took place at the very beginning of act 3 (in Wyrm's Crossing).
