As a former teacher, I had a love-hate relationship with post-its. Loved using them, hated when they lost stickiness :-)

No kidding. Like when they all start suddenly dropping to the floor. I never really thought about it before but i'd bet certain moister / heat conditions made it worse.

Thanks for this! Didnt knew this existed yet. Definitely going to use this for a family tree I wanted to make and some brainstorm sessions at work.

Oh, family tree is clever! that’s just made me think about turning my people who influence me note into a canvas, that would be a great use for this!

Thanks! just caught the end of your talk.. have been using obsidian less but this helicopter view of things has possibilities 👍

So far I'm seeing that using it for a sort of dashboard is a really great use or just dumping down ideas without knowing where you're going. I think it could be easier to start a new note or update existing notes but I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hey, i have only just found your channel but i am addicted,,your teaching style is perfect for me.
Have you used the PodNotes plugin? I am in a mes with it and cannot for the life of me get it to work. The plug in o the top right just is not there for me, even though i have the plugin enabled and even added my podcasts. But it is still not there for me. Any help would be appreciated!
Would you be open to doing a video on podcasts/ podnotes with obsidian?

Thanks, Greg. I wanted to show some actual uses for it rather than just a gut reaction / plain walkthrough. I’d love to hear what you find from it, I know some people who think it’s really overrated.

How would canvas show up in obsidian publish?
    thanks for sharing

Currently, it doesn’t. I just double checked and unless I have some conflict from another plugin I think that’s the case. I don’t know if they will change that.

@@chrisjwilson I tried the forum, nothing much there too. Though the new pdf viewer that just got release is quite nice. Hopefully some time in the future they will.

This might not be the correct forum to ask this, but... how can i get a Bible translation downloaded and split into verses? I want to do verse-by verse work, or is there some way of anchoring notes to a verse within a 'chapter' file? Thanks in advance! N.

No problem Nathan. (Shame there’s no easy chat for channels, as far as I know) so are you looking for a bible in the vault with each verse as its own file? I remember seeing a way to do this but I need to check my notes to make sure i share the right resource.

@@chrisjwilson yes, brother, a Bible in the vault with each verse as its own file. If you could have a wee look, I'd be grateful.

So I spent a bit of time and I can't find the original option I knew of. It had the files in plain markdown without any links. It was probably from hackathon.bible and the WEB bible, but I can't find it now. However, I did find this script that someone could use to split up a chapter divided set into a verse by verse set. github.com/joebuhlig/BibleGateway-to-Obsidian I haven't run it myself yet but I'm happy to help if you email me (chris@cjwilson.co.uk) and provide a few more details.
