    Brings tears to my eyes. We are in Denver and everything is fine, so so sad for the loss of so many of my favorite spots. I hope the rebuilding process starts soon. Devastating.

    Thank you guys for filming this. We have been trying to find out what has happened in town, but traffic and road closures keep us from going too far. It is frightening to see all that water in my own neighborhood. Stay safe please!

    Praying for all who are suffering due to this flooding and especially for the missing. I see comments about rebuilding. Before you do that, please get your heart right with God. Many will mock, but I tell you time is short so please don't gamble with your eternal destination.

    In the first 10 seconds of this footage you see the storage unit where most of our belongings are. We have our family and are safe, but photos, yearbooks, 4 bedrooms worth of furniture, a kitchen, laundry room, and office. All of it more then likely ruined!

    There are not so old ponds and lakes dotting the entire route this helicopter is flying on. Look it up on google earth/maps. Flooding here is totally normal and probably frequent.

  • @bobsuncle8217
    @bobsuncle8217 11 лет назад

    There aren't any troops or police standing on the bridges out preventing people at gunpoint from evacuating are there?Also the flooding was a lot worse all through all the neighborhoods and all the land that was below sea level.This flooding is just along a normal river floodplain that is dotted with not so old lakes and ponds where flooding in the past has been normal and frequent. The people in N.O. were out of food and no one was around to sell it. Don't see the grocery stores closing in CO.

    This is footage of a river flood plain people. Go to Longmont, Colorado in Google Earth and check out the streets and bridges they are talking about. They built too close to the river. Poor urban management. This is not flooding everywhere, just in the normal natural floodplain where they built too close for. Treat nature with disrespect like this and it will bite you back every time.

    I'm just thinking of all the poisons running off from the farmer's fields into the local rivers, that'll be the real disaster, just like the nuke plant was a bigger disaster than the earthquake in Japan.

    Hey TranSVestite5800, the bible also says GOD will never destroy the world with a flood again too. That was the covenant he made with Noah. Think that kind of blows a pretty big hole in your theory.

    I love how when something like this happens, there are always people ready to blame it on things, politics, or religion. the hell guys. NONE of that had ANYTHING to do with this. Want to know when the last flood happened? I cant even remember. because they rarely happen, and I lived here 20 years of my life. I live right next to left hand creek, almost lost my house, but I can't say the same for others living in my area. what happened was faulty planning for this much rain. Get a brain.

    We do not blame it on religion, you put words in our mouths to distract from truth, but truth is still truth. Everything haping right now on earth is written in scripture.Following Jesus is not a religion, it is a way of life. You are right,this never happens,you admit the truth then you try to twist it out of fear. All of earth is torment but then every one not effected by it are acting like it all is normal and it is this that makes me wonder about people like you , turn to Jesus now.

    And here I was thinking that you had nothing better to do than spout nonsense about how it is god's doing that rain is falling... or something along those lines.
