This episode was a learning experience. Childhood trauma is real and like wow. No one should ever go through so much at a young age. Susan and James- you are both strong. 👏❤️
I loved this episode..James offering his number when he heard what she was going through.. Susan speaking about her struggles...it was beautiful to watch.
“People that like words of affirmation lacked it while growing up”. This is me, I can’t tell you how much I struggle to believe that I’m loved or beautiful even if people keep telling me. It’s a struggle tbh😢
I kind of feel the pains of this young man, though his lifestyle is not my cup of tea. He’s been through a lot like most young Nigerians. Big ups to him.
I subscribed cos of how beautiful Susan does her interviews. Very realistic and very comfortable. A lot is always spilled. Good job girl. You're really doing so well. Proud of you Mama Johnson Daughter ❤
James can literally turn someone from crying to laughing 😂❤Susan we are really happy that you made this video 😊both the rich and poor are literally going through a lot from their families
Susan thank you for this episode😍I was raised by my mum’s family my grandma and her sibling never had this fatherly love but my mum’s family filled that gap but like you said society and school will want to frustrate and keep reminding you that you don’t have a father even if you have but he just don’t care…shout out to my mum’s immediate younger sister Aunty Stella for the love she poured into my life she keeps reminding me how special and unique I am…children like us just want love….and like you said I really don’t want his love or nothing I just want him to support me financially that’s it….thou my remarried but I didn’t just allow myself to be close to my step dad thou he seems cool but I’m used to be without a father figure…shout out to you Susan and James❤
This has to be my best Episode, I can relate because my dad has not been in the picture, like James would say he's alive but dead to me, my mum and my senior sister are my everything and I'll do everything to make them proud.... My mum's family have actually really tried for me.
Love you Susan can’t wait to meet you one day . We literally have the same story I’m from a single home , my mum raised me alone and I’m the only child . Grew up with so many trauma. I always thought I was the only one .
Parenthood can be beautiful if we adopt the method which every good farmer uses in cultivating yam tubers .(The Tendril concept) A farmer after he plants his yam seedlings, makes what is called a tendril(a support system used to direct leaves of creeping plants) this helps direct the movement of the yam leaves as they grow. Every parent is a tendril, and the child or Children is a creeping yam leave; that is clueless on where it is heading to.If the parent (s) doesn't position him/herself well ,the child will find other support system to help his movement. For yam leaves without tendrils it's usually the ground, and the end of such yam plant is always a chaotic and disastrous one Mind you ,Good tendrils are usually strong, organized, rooted deep inside the soil, they are tall most atimes,or are well constructed in ways to keep the creeping plants organized till they are matured enough. So my sincere advice to young and upcoming parents is be a good support system to your children,be present to direct them as a good tendril will.Make sure you plant your foot deep in the soil,so you won't fall when strong winds come your way. Regardless of your past experiences with your own parents.let me add that forgiving your parents for their mistake in your life goes a long way in helping you raise your own kids right. Above all , keep in mind that all life issues emanates from poor relationship between parents and children,no cap ,go and verify, 99.99% issues that's usually the starting point. This is just the best way to avoid criss between parents and children, any other way is arguably futile.Gracias🙏🙏
This topic is deep no matter how hard we try to make the world a better place we can’t change life reality ..the only thing we can actually do is to accept it that way… try as much as we can not to repeat the same mistake
James deserves all good things coming to him like fr....that dude is a real gee.... Growing up in the streets mehnnnn.....tho the hurt is there but when u finally start using all of your experiences to deal with life, the world becomes a bit easy to operate on.... Of a truth, only God's love that's unconditional and that's where I find my peace most. Some of us wey dey genuinely care about others and love others we strong cos if dem say make we check am, we nor fit give weytin we nor get or weytin dem nor give us.....
I really took my time to watch this episode cause I can relate to the single parenting, deadbeat father whatever. But I've to admit, Susan looks so pretty,James is effortlessly funny too😂😂
What an interesting episode I really enjoyed it listening & seeing you guys talk about it really..deadbeat parents especially dads imagine setting one place and expect me to come look for him after all the Trauma they've caused..😤

Wow!!! I am never really a fun of Susan but watching this episode, i am deeply touched. This Lady has been through alot, your story is as similar as mine and my siblings. But God is Faithful Susan. Keep doing your best and God will see you through. Luv u darling ❤❤
This was really good video, very refreshing to be honest. This is the first time I’ve heard a Nigerian in Nigeria openly talk about this topic and it’s really is something we all struggle with. Thank you so much for shedding light on this 👏🏽❤️
I can relate to this although I have both parents but staying with a relative was really difficult. Bold me became so timid and in my shell, primitive, low self-esteem and had alot of things that kinda damaged me but im all good now i get depressed but it gets better by the day.
I was feeling sad and gloomy about some disappointments i have faced but the moment I saw James brown, I clicked immediately because i knew he would change my mood😂
Wow! I can't believe I watched 51min video with my Mb, and no regret, you are doing so well Susan. The queen herself is a whole vibe truly social media has made a lot of people don't know what happened behind the scene. You both went through a lot, you are strong. I applaud you ❤❤❤. Big fan ❤❤
James I really understand you, cause I and my siblings faced same thing, till now they (my parents) haven’t come for us, I feel bad sometimes I cry, like now am crying, because I want to take care of myself I did things I regreted
Wow Susan wat a story To all the girls raised by a single moms I know how many times I thought of suicide wow its extremely traumatizing am 18 now tho we are strong 💪 ❤
I tried to ignore it, but the "like" opor. I hope you get more conscious of it. That's usually all it takes. Great episode though, and my God your Skin!
James said, "I don't believe in family by blood. I believe in family by bonding" .
I think that's it for me.
Ahh.. Googo, you are here telling everybody that you don't love me, daddy, mummy, juuju, fee and Diogo???🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️🙆♀️

Exactly and that’s why I prefer him by far to bob. The guy worked his way up there. He deserves all the good things that comes to him
