Pay attention:
1- Be sure to get the Max version of Amplitube 5
2- If you only hear a wet reverb audio, you are probably using a smartphone which doesn't support the stereo export of these presets. I suggest you to listen using your headphones or your studio gear
"Coming Back To Life" from Pulse is one of the best songs ever played!
True!
The best Gilmour maker tone here
Thanks bro
bravo !!
Grazie!
Did you use the normal muff (the big pig) or a modelled one from tonex?
I used the stock muff in amplitube 5, nothing from tonex
@@gilmourtheorynice, I find it a bit tough to dial in, but with gain at 7 it works quite nicely!
Gande Francesco sei il numero 1 per Gilmour👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋
Troppo gentile, grazie ❤️
Could you make these presets for Overloud THU software please?!?!? I really want the Pulse presets but I prefer to use Overloud instead of Amplitube
High Hopes?
That comfortably numbe tone is INSANE. How do i use amplitude?
Thank! Amplitube is a software, a platform and a daw to create your rig from your PC. All preset can be exported and imported. You plug in the guitar, select the audio device you use and play
@gilmourtheory I'm so new to all the technology part of it... how to I run my guitar through my computer. Do I still use an amp cabinet? Do I need a digital head? 🤔 sorry I know you have better things to do lol... I have all the pedals to create gilmour tones but this just would be so time efficient
@@ACDC267 you don't need anything of these stuff. You just need an USB audio interface for your PC to plug in the guitar via jack. Then download amplitube, in the preferences select your audio interface and create your tones. Select amps, cabs and pedals
@gilmourtheory very nice. I'm going to purchase your tone packs once I get it set up. Love the content man. Been a subscriber for a long time
@@ACDC267 And I really appreciate people like you for your support. Thank you from the heart!
Cercherò info a riguardo
Too much delay in mix. Gilmour never used so "in your face" delay during the Pulse. It's always been quiet
Not actually true, depends on the song. Take it back, Run Like hell, keep talking, Another brick intro, have the delay as main character. Also, the guitar in PULSE has lot of reverb due to the large hall arena, and the delay in many of the songs is often hidden behind it.
It depends of the track (The Wall, lot of clean et long Delay). The thing is that Gilmour used a TC2290 for his main delay on this tour and this thing has the “dynamic delay” control, the delay is killed depend of the dynamic.
@@gilmourtheorythan why you haven't added hall reverb?
@@kakashiprofik.s.5516 The hall reverb is there at the end of the chain
I saw the pulse shows 4 times in 1994. Twice at veterans stadium in Philadelphia, and twice at JFK stadium in Washington DC. Gilmours guitar tones sounded different at each show, and they weren’t as….,refined, I guess you’d say, as they sounded on the pulse release. They had a much more raw sound to them live. The delay and reverb levels live depended a lot on where you were sitting and sounded different each show. From what I have read Gilmour has never used reverb pedals live. So, any reverb you hear is a natural effect of the venue’s acoustics. The pulse release is heavily mixed compared to what it sounded like live. And no recording I’ve ever heard compares how the quadraphonic sounded live. The Roger Waters Wall tour had quadraphonic sound, but it wasn’t as good as the Pink Floyd concerts. I thought the new delicate sound of thunder and pulse remixes would have the quad effect with 5.1 surround sound, but it doesn’t. Not how
It was live anyway.
