Both are the most insane characters on the cast but in different sides of the spectrum. Meursault is so sane that he is batshit crazy for living in the city and Don is so insane that she is almost normal in the city.
Yeah. Out of any of the ships they make up these days, I find this one to be most adorable and fun to watch. They are like destined to fuck up constantly due to either Meursault being a log, and Don's brain being a log. Like, they'll mess things up so bad with each other... If I had to give a comparison as to how bad, It'd be Cathy being high on weed while Heath enters the room drunk levels of halirous.

I want Don's latest gag of trying to be more like Mersault to hit a point where she struggles to be as silent and stoic as him only for him to tell she's fine the way she is and they share a little cutesy moment. But then Don's pent up verbal backlog hits full force and she yaps him into apathetic silence again.
Sorry for commenting twice but I just. Really love this comic. Cheers to the OG artist, because I'm about to get real wordy on why. It's kind of my personal headcanon that Don doesn't really consider herself a "m'lady". After all, she is Don Quixote, bringer of a world where justice prevails! In her mind, something like the concept of a "lady" is someone pure of heart, who needs to be protected. Like the damsels of the stories of knights and heroes. So when, in this comic, Meursault calls her "m'lady", literally MY LADY, it translates to her as something like, "I want to be the one who protects you", which might not be entirely untrue on Meursault's part 😊 This is to say, that she also feels the same way about him, but he doesn't grasp her language, so to speak 😅
