Me, an RX-7 owner: *visible happiness*
Soon with the jdm prices on the market your rx7 could buy 2 of these 😂
Me, not an RX-7 owner: *visible jealousy*
Same
Don’t get too happy, it’s ~100,000 dollars. About 85,000 pounds.
Me, An fc owner: damn I wish my rotary ran 🤣
If I could afford one of these bikes I would buy it immediately. ROTARY IS BACK! If price tag will be around 14 000£ it would be blast on market, hands down. Other that I am proud to be Czech and Ejector exhaust cooling system(invented by Tatra) was used on this bike.
Yup, but it’s £85000
Yeah, but its still just an old Norton... obsolete technology
@@sandervanderkammen9230 Are you serious?
@@packhams4 *Serious as a heart attack son.*
Brian has been trying (unsuccessfully) to sell this old, uncompetitive 1990s Norton race bike for nearly 20 years... its sad to see someone so tragically stuck in the past, blinded by nostalgia.
Brian could have been a vey successful bike builder but instead he completely lost the plot...
@@sandervanderkammen9230 I see you have a good technical knowledge, but I think you miss the point of BCs efforts to make the best of that alternative ICE tech. Very successfully I might add. Or should we only develop in-line or V4s, or boring electric motors. We need more alternatives in MotoGP/ Moto2/3 than the homogenised, regulated stuff that is allowed. How about a CR700 in the Brit GP!
God bless these crazy old men in Britain keeping the dream alive. One day the EU will understand, that the few people riding bikes like that won't change nothing about the environment and then we'll be able to put a plate on those things. Up till then we can thank our brothers in petrol in Britain
Someone needs to explain to these crazy old crackpots that there is no market for obsolete race bikes from the 1990s...
@@sandervanderkammen9230 i don't think that is true. Also he doesn't make money through numbers, it's a small volume operation
@@petergriffin4629 Gilo Industries only makes money sell paramotors... Creighton Racing has never made any money...
Brian Crighton is a legend.
He made brilliant technology with less money.
With someone else's money... that he never pays back... total con artist.
@@sandervanderkammen9230 what do you mean with that?
@@TWOlb-nn7uw Brian Crighton's relationship with "the boy blunder" Gilo Cardozo and Gilo Industries financial irregularities.
@@sandervanderkammen9230 how do you know that?
@@TWOlb-nn7uw Its not a secret, Brian "Crighton Motorcycles" operates out of a tiny shed on Gilo Cardozos farm and is owned by Gilo Industries.
He also has close ties with Stuart Garner who has been charged with embezzlement, fraud and perpetrator of the largest Ponzi scam in the history of the motorcycle industry.
Brian's been hawking the same old 1991 Norton RCW700 F1 since it was built from salvaged parts in 2003.
If you believe Crighton is a legitimate motorcycle manufacturer? I have a bridge I'd like to sell to you.
The rotary engine is still my favorite. Great job!
This should go into mass production.. I would buy one right away, if street legal! ! Incredible!! Just few more specs would be nice - like gas consumption, ergonomics, overall dims, etc.. cheers!
It's a race bike, so most probably not street legal. Does not even have headlights. Gas consumption and maintenance would be what's expected of a wankel.
It costs 80500$
We have MAZDA RX7 bike! Love this sound 😍😍😍😍
There were rotary bikes long before the RX7, or even the RX3...
really like the sound and look of the bike. hope to see more of it!
Awesome bike, 220hp, 130kg, broad power curve, just and awesome bit of kit. If I could get my ZX12r to weigh 130kg I would be super happy, but just the engine is nearly that much.
I just have to say thank you, thank you for bringing something like to this to our generation this awesome im gratefull for this
I think many people would love to see rotary engines in MotoGP! 🔥🔥🔥🌶️🌶️🌶️
I don't think anyone is interested in seeing a Magola in moto gp...
imagine the street legal version, it would destroy most bikes. sadly the engine can't compete in motogp
It's pretty close though, the bike is lighter so the hp to kg ratio is better, maybe they could up the displacement or something to make it match the moto hp bikes, and maybe even still be lighter. It's pretty amazing for a na rotary, and there are not exactly many rotary bikes on the market, so in comparison to piston engines they have had far less r and d, so potentially a lot of power etc left on the table.
But yeah, you are right in your statement. But.. This is rotary, which is awesome! 😁
@@socks2441 *Up the displacement?* this engine is already an enlarged Norton 588 (a twin version of the Sachs- Hercules 294) called the Norton NRV700.
1,400cc's! 400cc's over the MotoGP limit!
@@sandervanderkammen9230 my bad, I thought it was only 700cc 😅
It is only 700 ccs....
@@pauld6102 The actual total displacement is 2,100cc's
The FIM classifies it as a 1,400cc engine.
Talks about noise, adds rubbish audio over the part of the video where the bike is ridden. Sigh...
So hyped with that, but doesnt it look like the demo bike is riding sooo slow and under-rev?
Oh my gosh !!! Why did the play the music so loud over the sound of the rotary engine sound!?
I'm not sure what I love more 2T or Wankle but I love the idea of a lighter, simpler and more powerful engine. That said brap-brap sounds better than an angry bee and that bike is drop dead gorgeous.
phenomenal engineering!
BEST RACE BIKE!
The only thing Norton lost more than races was customers.

Wow! This is so awesome!
Not really...
respect legend 2roter
for the people wondering, you can buy this bike and cost about 85k and it can be street legal~.
They haven't sold any since 2005... not street legal
I wanted to hear the motor, not a stupid musical overlay.
Looks like a good bike pity you can't hear the engine properly with the backing music
This should be mass produced and launched worldwide.
I'm so happy .but to expensive for me,I will continue to ride my Suzuki RE-5
มันคือสุดยอดของมอเตอร์ไซค์
The sound is fu;$ing amazing I need this take my money I am in the states
The BOSS. 'Nuff said.
*OLD OBSOLETE GARBAGE*
rotaries spirit !
❤❤
If you can get this much hp using the exhaust to pull vacuum, from a mad man in a leather apron, why on earth was Mazda strapping turbos to these things
😍🔥👌
WHY PUT MUSIC OVER AND WAYNE RAINEY ON THE BIKE VIDEO!?
Wondering if this or a turbo Hayabusa would make a better first bike 🤔
H2r is the answer
@@izacaqsha3480 except its about 100kg heavier, wich makes it not a good trackbike.
So they turned an android from red dwarf into a motorbike, an awesome rotary motorbike, and unlike red dwarfs Crighton, this one is beautiful.

Why would he waste his time on this old, unsuccessful design from the 1990s???
Oh my god I met this guy at a military field training exercise and didn't realize it...their drone was rotary powered and I was schooling them on the crappy ethanol pump fuel that was messing with their drone ..still got the business card though. Should call him. Hope he sees this.
They haven't had much success with thier outdated Wankel engines... Brian works for Gilo Cardozo 'aka' "the boy blunder"
Gilo Industries abandoned production on their paramotor Wankel engines and now buys-in 2-stroke reciprocating engines from the Italian company _Vittorazi_

You gotta realize how expensive buildi g a motorcycle company from scratch really is.
From the looks of it, they didnt have a lot of investors in this bike. Which means they probably built most of its components in house. Its engibe r&d for design and performance=done in house, the frame geometry=in house, pretty much everything was in house except maybe wheels and brakes.
Erik Buell had twice the funding, using an engine he didnt build from scratch, with a team of physicists and engineers, with a mass production line and twice the wearhouse. And he still failed.
Give the lads a break, the fact they could afford to make this masterpiece alone is nothing short of a miracle. If they are lucky to get maybe 10 sales they will probably barely scratch even.
