St Kilda were lucky they had supporters during their early years. University of Melbourne (University Football Club) really shot themselves in the foot by making their requirement for playing in their team being you had to have been a University Student doing a Degree up to or above a certain level and you also had to do exams during mid season. This would explain why they had a horrible run between 1911 to 1914 when they wouldn't have a chance to compete. Unfortunately for around 10 to 15 of those University players, they would later on go off to War and die on the battlefields just a few short years later.
You missed Chris Judd. In the 2005 GF he was awarded the Norm Smith Medal under false pretenses. He had, IIRC, 34 possessions of which 17 went either directly or indirectly to Swans players.
Might be seeing a new embarrassing record, with Geelong starting the season 0-3. I’m not sure what the worst start is to a season for a reining premier but it looks like they’re going to give it a good crack
