    For the question "On what is Scrum based on ?" The answer should only be D (Empiricism), because in the scrum guide it specifically says "Lean thinking", not just "Lean" by itself, which could be another implementation of agile methodology.

      Thanks for pointing this out. Technically, you are correct. That is because there is no uniform definition of Lean. So Lean can be seen as Lean Production System, Lean principles, Lean thinking, etc… Point taken. On this subject, an interesting anecdote that Jeff Sutherland mentioned in a class I co-trained with: Jeff was talking with Prof. Takeuchi and Nonaka that Scrum has roots in Lean due notably to the inspiration from “The New New Product Development Game (HBR 1984)”. To that, Takeuchi and Nonaka replied that Lean is a Western rebranding - there is no Lean but the Toyota Production System instead! 😅

      Good catch! Kudos for seeing this detail.

      @@valueinsights so what should we consider the correct answer D

      @valueinsights  11 месяцев назад

      @@jamie-ho5fm Strictly speaking, yes. For the filiation information, Toyota Production System (TPS) inspired Lean of which Lean Thinking is based on. Scrum guide states that Scrum is founded on empiricism and lean thinking (and not just Lean)

    The question which lists sprint retrospective being 3/4 of the sprint review also long states 3 hours as an option that is based on “one month sprint’s sprint review” as the condition. So, in that example, both options are correct (three hours and 3/4th) - only because the question implies a one month sprint.
    But thank you so much for the practice questions - very helpful!

      Thank you so much for your comment Emily and feedback- you are actually totally correct and 3 hours is/should be the correct answer as per the SG. This should be corrected in a new version of the video. Thanks again and all the best for your future Scrum exam if any!

      @@valueinsights Exactly. SG, page 10, para 4, mentions three hours in a very clear language. Thanks for the clarification.

    The length of the sprint retrospective for a 1 month sprint is 3 hours. Scrum Guide 2020.

      Yes, you are correct. The video will need to be revised to cater for that - see the comment from Emilya Malkin and SineQuaNon on this. Thanks.
