I've now got in my mind a video series where Matt breaks into people's houses, cook's them something delicious, and vanishes before they're back. I don't know why that's amusing me so much!
In the spirit of helping to provide material, I shall be out from about 09:30 until 16:00 next Tuesday. My address is 15 Busy Road, Smallish Village, Near Cornwall. If you can bring your own dog that would help. (Beer in the fridge as agreed!)
Great edit and recipe as always Matt. The Kitchen Ramblings channel now includes taking the dog out for some rambling. Incidentally a guy from the local ramblers association rang me the other day, his speech just went on and on and on and on🤣
They look good Matt and a nice generous size too. That knife block holder in the end shot looks really nice but I'm sure I've seen one like that before. Dunno, must have been on a different channel somewhere? 🤔😂
Being from Cornwall and now living in the States, last 30 years I often cook up a few every month or so . Have to say yours looked amazing, great video too!
Matt, Have you stopped producing on this channel , it was always fun watching them and we have had some great meals. Already subscribed to Badger workshop and Workshop Banter. I cant remember you saying you were stopping, but it could just be me ?
Just had a bash at these. Came out pretty good but I under-seasoned the mix which isn’t like me at all so note there for next time. Also the insides were a bit wet, not sure if I did something wrong? Tempted to maybe add some flour into the mix next time to absorb some of the moisture, maybe, unless I didn’t something wrong? Not sure.
I wish you could have cut one open , just interested to see how the meat had cooked . But I know you a professional chef so I’m sure it was fine , and no doubt the pup was more than impressed . Kind regards 👍
Those Pasties look absolutely delicious, can you send one to Aussie for me? One thing I like about all your recipes are they are all fairly basic and easy, when's the cook book coming out? As for that vicious dog, he did not help you much, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Those looked extremely tasty Matt, just perfect to keep you and the wee beastie well fed on a long walk :) How much steak did you use for them? It looked to be about 500 grm.

It's high time we saw some more of your videos Chris!
If I run out of ideas I will try this
A sort of culinary Banksy.

They are pretty easy to do and so tasty fresh
your ma has the same wood burner as us, great choice, looking forward to making the beauties

Now those are a good sized pasty 😋, fantastic. Your Mum’s pup is a little sweetie, what breed is she?
She is a border terrier jack russell cross

My favourite Britsch snack! You explain it clear and simple Matt. I will surely try this myself.
Thank you very much

One of your best vids ever m8 well done x
Thank you very much
I love pasties from Michigans Upper Pennsula.
My local year around farmer's market has UP pasties in their freezer case.
Sounds like a good market
@@KitchenRamblings-in5py It really is.
Look lovely those pasties Matt, well made , Enjoy
Thank you very much

Thank you. They are only a help with eating the food
Looks lovely. Did you put the pasty straight in your pocket? I might have wrapped it first. 😄
Thank you. Yes it went straight in. I needed a paper bag
3 mm thick, you need some Benchdogs gauge blocks.
That would be useful
Now I'm hungry. Pasties look great but we all seem to be skipping over the "Pastie Pocket" in your coat, now that should come in all coats
Hi Matt. What cut of beef are you using here / what would you recommend if we can’t get the same one?
Those looked extremely tasty Matt, just perfect to keep you and the wee beastie well fed on a long walk :)
How much steak did you use for them? It looked to be about 500 grm.
Yes it was 500g
So what did you do with the swede.
Pasties look wonderful, but the star of the show is Mabel 😅
She would agree with you
What is swed?
Called 'Rutabagas' in the US.
That dog clearly has a vicious streak a mile wide. Hope you survived…
She is a bit wild
I hope your mum doesn't watch you use that knife around that plate on her solid wood worktops!!!!
Hi Matt, the Mrs wants to know what breed is she?
I want a pasty but apparently my needs come second. 😂
She is a border terrier jack russell cross
@@KitchenRamblings-in5py she's adorable.
