you’re review style is truly different. great review! however, here’s my feelings: Your review sounds very corporate, like IGN made it. My favorite reviewers include Shartimus Prime (except he seems to be too easy to please; hype a little too much), XManny... i’ll have to get back to you on more names, they ain't coming to mind exactly. point is, i enjoy have a reviewer speak as though i might be present for conversation. They priorities are a good camera that focuses well on details (Shartimus has the best), your lighting, and going into articulation and comparing sizes or scales with whatever you might have, which whatever a viewer might have. I like all the extra effort you put in about the brief history and i think they way you edit and your pacing is spectacular! What i dont like is the music isnt letting me relax. the background tracks are imposing! silence would be better, or something very subtle. well there you go, that’s my feedback for your edification.
@@Abbotttdesign Hey, thanks for taking the time out to watch and share your thoughts. I could definitely understand wanting less of the corporate feeling in the reviews. These days when I do make a review I try to focus on the things I’d like to know if I were interested in the figure and such. I did start out with the much longer videos, but I had to make the personal decision to shorten things, but still get my thoughts across ya know? There are definitely a lot of great channels in the community with more of the natural feeling and I’m in full support of those. I watch and have become friends with some of them since I joined. Do know that I put my heart into each video and the thoughts expressed are all my own thoughts towards the figures I get, no matter how edited the video may be. I hope to chat again soon!
IMO, the modular iron man is the best iron man hasbro has released and one of the best legends but I do wish they had made some shoulder pads similar to a star wars trooper design or the mcu M3 armor to really give it the bulk we see in the comics, cartoon and games. This was a really awesome review style with the retro toy and cartoon cutscenes and great at under 7 minutes.
I did not play marvel vs capcom but there is an old game called war of the gems, and this Iron man reminds me a lot how this character looked like on that game
Now that I have the retro carded war machine figure from the iron man tv series, I’m kind of debating on whether I should get the iron man figure with the proton gun so he can go with my what if figures on my marvel animated shelf.
I have this finger and the only thing I wish they hadn't done. Honestly is put muscle definition on the red iron parts of his suit. Because those are supposed to be hard. Parts and a muscles should not have peaked through those other than that. The suitors perfectly fine. It sells the figure and his big shoulder can and thing. Which has an amazing looking stand I like that
I think the only thing missing is the translucent thrusters that will go on the bottom of the boost that could have possibly packed into the pig holes. But still it's amazing what that figure can do period and the fact that they gave us a Tony starkhead. Is awesome now?If they can only give us a tony stark civilian figure that be great period
There is a two pack for MCU Tony, but it shouldn’t be too hard to make a custom using the head in this figure; just find a suited body with the same general build and skin color (unless you want different colored hands?) and it’ll more than likely look half decent (neck size may vary)
Also, this might be an esthetic design kind of visual thing. But I kind of wonder why the figures have these small bodies and big heads. When in the 90s, it was the exact opposite. We had small heads and big bodies. I kind of wish they had given Iron Man a little more broadness on his shoulders and made the shoulders a little more wide. Same thing with Spider-Man and a few other characters. Because again, the characters had big heads and small butt. Big bodies and small heads. Excuse me and they look like adults some of these figures, kind of look like kids if you think about it with smaller bodies and big heads but they still look good regardless. I love the design. I just wish the head and the body were 2 different sizes. Much like the toy, miss figures were LO. L, but that's just a small little visual complaint. But regardless I love the figures. I just wish they quit with the cell shading stuff though you don't need that.
What’re your thoughts on this figure? Also, I’m trying to switch things up with the editing so let me what you think about this one.

Great review, as always, Kirk! Loved the retro scenes from the show, and the Toy Biz action figures you showed throughout the review!
Thanks a lot Daniel!
