SHAUN BROUGHT THE CLEAVER SPA MONTE CARLO. I CAN TRANSFER IN NO WORRIES AS YOU CAN SEE. HOWEVER GETTING OUT IS QUITE TRICKY. SITTING PRETTY ON INSTAGRAM HAS DONE A FAB VIDEO ABOUT TRANSFERING INTO THE TUB. I THINK I SHALL GET A LITTLE STALL TO HELP ME GET OUT. BUT IM GOING TO WAIT UNTILL NEXT SEASON NOW.

After suffering my spinal cord injury i have really had to adapt in life. So Im showing you my disability lifestyle to raise disability awareness. I don't have a garden, but I do have a brand new ceiling hoist in my bedroom that was fitted on Monday. I'm also having a new shower wheelchair delivered tomorrow. Not as sexy as a garden Spa, but I'm futureproofing my flat.

Wheelsnoheels - Gem Hubbard when I need to get out of my Lay Z spa, I bought an inflatable spa seat cushion from Amazon.uk, as it has suction cups on the bottom. It gives me a decent elevation to then perch on the wall of the spa

I’m new to your channel and I love your editing......so funny and cheerful. Just started using a wheelchair because of fibro, cfs and arthritis.. feel so self conscious but it definitely helps. You seem so happy as a family. Such an inspiration.
Wow your hubby had great jobs. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ fours stars !!!! Yes spa is best for someone who had pain or muscles sore. It is help recovery. Same like sports or Olympic, etc...if u get some sit for get out of spa..make sure sit or stool with rubber on bottom of legs or it might rip or cut on your spa bottom. 🙂

I have to begin by thanking you both. I know that you have bad days, but your attitude is an encouragement to me. I’m going to be receiving my chair this week. I broke my back 13 years ago and have been using a cane. Something happened a couple months ago and iv gone downhill. I’ve subscribed and have notifications on. I’ve gotten off Facebook while I go through this. Kind of an ego thing. I don’t want pity or people ridiculing me. When I get back on, I’m going to share your videos and how you both have encouraged me. I’ll get though this. I’m not sure what hoops you had to jump through to get your chair. The insurance in the US isn’t kind to the disabled. I found a group that refurbishes chairs and are giving me 3. One powered by armstrong, a power one and a larger one for offroad use. An electric car carrier, ramps for my suv and even a van with a lift and lockdown inside. At some point I would like to share them on one of your videos. Oh, if you’ve read this far, it’s called a back yard, ha ha ha. Again, I thank you!

The spa looks great, I was wondering how to transfer in! I have a wet room as I can't get in and out of a bath,so this was great to see that its manageable.
How cool, you're from the UK! - I recently commented on your blizzard beach photo and you mentioned your channel to someone in the comments. I just assumed you'd be american but then I was like "hang on a tick, I know that accent" - Your channel looks really interesting and helpful too. I'll definitely be sticking around :)
I'm currently making my own garden more accessible, it's over run by wooden posts holding up our fence and steps to get to it 😂 I'm hoping to put in a raised bed so I can grow plants for food! (Also you got the spa on my birthday!😂)

A spa tip for you. Have a separate bathing suit you only wear in the tub. The foam comes from the soap on the suit and from our bodies. A spa store will sell a defoamer you can use. Enjoy your portable spa until your husband decides he wants a permanent one. Using in winter is so much fun!
Your Garden looks Amazing, I am not disabled and quite frankly neither are you. I say that to say although I cant relate to being in a wheelchair I love your videos, spirit and tenacity to live a seemingly wonderful life. Very positive fun content!!!
Hey :) if u go on installation and more website you can buy an installation jacket and then you have have your hot tub out in winter :) you can turn the heat off during day or during night and it will only drop a little temp; but remember to always leave the filter on 24/7....this doesn’t cost very much at all xx hope that helps xx

Hahaha. Yeah he did. All on his own too. Quite a lot of the things he recycled and used else where too.
My parents have a hot tub in our garden. Ours is a 6 seater hot tub on a concrete base. We are getting a summer house in our garden next year and it’s roof will go over the hot tub. I don’t really go in the hot tub but my parents love it and my mum says it really helps with her back pain in the winter when it’s cold.

Great transformation video, the garden looks so open and spacious snd I know how much you like things clean and minimal so a great result guys 🙌 We’ve been thinking about a spa and you’ve certainly made me think harder now, but I’d be tempted to keep it out all year I think, maybe with a gazebo over the top in winter to keep the rain off, we could make it pretty with fairy lights etc 🤔 Thanks for another entertaining video guys! 🥰

In my garden we have 2 giant bottal brush trees, there beautiful but gives us Hayfever if we get it close to our face

Well I’ve been playing around with different ways, I quite like putting my legs in first...how do you do it??
Wheelsnoheels - Gem Hubbard what works best for me is if I put my legs in first and then someone stands next to me and holds my arm and I push up of that and sort of slide/splash in haha ! That’s actually the only way I have ever tried it as I can’t sit up without back support so unfortunately the shuffling forwards doesn’t work for me but it’s different for everyone ! I hope you’ve found something that does work for you and causes as little pain and fatigue as possible! Although getting in is the easy part compared to getting out isnt it haha ! 💗
