Facts
Usually I would make a goof, but when Anthony brought up the whole family seperation situation at the border, it really hit me. My mom was deported earlier this year, she's back in Mexico trying to rebuild her life at 40 years old. Literally everything she worked for basically gone overnight. And I had to put everything in my life on hold to take care of my mom and brother. I never went to visit my mom at the detention center she was being held at, because I couldn't bare the thought of seeing the strongest women I have ever known my entire life looked so weak and defeated. But on her 40th birthday I went to go visit her. And the instant devastation that I felt in that moment is indescribable. I am traumatized from that event, so if me, an adult gets affected like this, I can't even imagine what little kids through when they have no one to defend them.
